  The most relaxing calm beautiful hotel

  First want to start by saying please don’t be put off booking this hotel by reading bad reviews, as I first hand did not experience anything of what I had read before going and was apprehensive about booking but i am thrilled we did!Location is very isolated not much around in terms of night life , small shopping mall less than 5 mins by car with restaurants and bars ( quiet location) but still enough to browse or buy any essentials you need Food was great Plenty of options , meats of many varieties over the 5 days we were there and all cooked in front of you. Waiters serve you drinks and clean constantly which I thought was really good as nothing worse than left over mess all around when you are dining. Only beer wine water or soft drinks in restaurant served by staff which was never a issue for usPools incredibly clean pool areas and beds which were always monitored by staff for litter, plenty of beds to go around although I’m guessing in the peak summer months this might change. A kids pool, a busier middle pool with beautiful see view and then a really relaxing peaceful adult pool with grass surrounding so calming. Our room was beautiful with an amazing view of hotel grounds , pools and sea , cleaned regularly. No complaints Entertainment is kids disco early evening followed by a different act at 9.30 each night , many reviews mentioned this being too late but we found it ideal as dinner shut at 9pm and was directly opposite entertainment centre so it was perfect to not have to rush after a pool day to get to dinner and show. All acts were great, Lobby bar serving 10am-11pm all inclusive with branded spirits, beers soft drinks , lovely selection of coffees made on request Pool bar serves snacks from 12.30-6pm and drinks. All inclusive snacks are toastie, hot dog or burger with fries which you have to eat at pool bar dining area which was lovely with views of sea. It is waiter service for food All staff at this hotel were so lovely pleasant friendly and helpful and so hardworking , honestly credit to them. If you are looking for a busy party holiday this is not the hotel or location but if you want relaxation and luxury then this is the one.   Hotel not the best

  The grounds of the hotel are absolutely stunning and spotlessly clean. Needs maintenance on some of pathways other than that very good. The hotel itself is dated. Lack of directional signage from reception to room. Beds are very hard and uncomfortable. Food first couple of days was fine and then became very monotonous. One evening was all fish or carbs. A lot of pork on offer too. I’m glad we was only there a week otherwise would have lived on salads only both lunch and dinner. The lunch on offer at the pool bar is very poor unless you want to pay extra for it. There is no atmosphere round the pool with no music other than when aqua gym or water polo on. In the evenings be prepared to take cards or games otherwise not a lot to do as any entertainment is only on for very short periods of time.Unless you want to pay to use the lagoon the hotel beach is about 5 min walk with no facilities. Not particularly great beach either. Walking into Costa Calma is about 20 mins but can’t be done in evening as pathway is not lit up. Costa Calma is very quiet. I wouldn’t recommend to stay at this hotel which is a real shame. This hotel is definitely more aimed at German tourists than brits.

  Wow! Amazing hotel.

  From the moment we arrived we were thrilled!This hotel is absolutely stunning and we couldn’t fault a thing! Staff are all very helpful, the hotel is spotless and the setting is perfect!We had 10 nights all inclusive and found the food very good. I’m quite a fussy eater but always managed to find something tasty to eat. The catering staff take a pride in their work and this is clear to see with the results.Our room was spacious and immaculate. We did experience a leak with the air con unit but this was dealt with quickly.All inclusive drinks are branded spirits and there’s plenty to choose from.Worth noting that if you use the Lagoon pool and bar this is NOT included in the all inclusive. We knew we would pay extra for the use of the facility but we thought being part of the hotel, food and drink there would be included.The hotel has provided everything anyone could want, a lovely gift shop, gym and spa (we didn’t use gym or spa).We walked into the main resort of Costa Calma but a taxi is only 5 euros.Perfect holiday in every way!
