  Worst “all inclusive” resort

  Our experience was a bit weird from the start. We were not expecting being charged for water!! So if you are thirsty in your room, go buy some. No water bottles available, just the one you get in the restaurant area or the bar. We were also charged €40 for towels that we were told we will be refunded at the end, which of course did not happen because we were less then an hour late for checkout.. very disappointing and rude staff, the only ones who really cared were the entertainment staff even though entertainment was not planned, kids had only 20 minutes of rushed songs in the evening.. so far, the worst place we have been to! With so many options, I would recommend you choose something different. Like many hotels operating under an all-inclusive concept, bottled water for the room is not part of the standard package, but drinking water is readily available during service hours.Regarding the pool towels, the amount paid is not a charge but a deposit, which is refunded upon return of the towels and within the conditions explained at check-in.   On arrival the reception staff were very polite and checked me in swiftly.The room itself was very clean and tidy. All I needed to relax. Only little issue was the pillows were uncomfortable. I made some adjustments with a towel and all sorted.The hotel staff were all very helpful and polite and spoke to me. The whole hotel was very clean. Very large selection of food and you could eat your way through the day if you choose.   This is my fourth visit. Although the rooms could do with a lick of paint but who spends hours in their room! The food is plentiful and good choice for everyone. My only negative is that on every four visits you cannot dry your hands as the handryers do not work and there are no paper hand towels. For a 4 star hotel, having toilet roll put on the sinks for drying hands is primitive. This has been like this for several years now. SBH could do better in this area!   Great hotel with a relaxing atmosphere

  The bad reviews are over exaggerated. I was shocked how great value this hotel was - getting a package deal all inclusive was such a money saver. The hotel has so much to offer - the staff were so friendly. The food had lots of choices and good quality. The hotel could do with was some TLC but for the cost of the holiday I wasn't bothered. They had activities running through the day and entertainment in the evening. I loved the beach bar with lots of drinks part of the all inclusive and there was a private beach cove with free sun beds which was my favourite bit . There was a welcoming atmosphere there and all the staff say hello and seem happy to be there. The rooms are massive, little dated but the hotel rest of the hotel is really nice looking. I was so impressive with the hotel as in the bad reviews, I realised people seem to be just nit picking. The African Market is great fun on Wednesdays and Sunday 10am - 2pm - there's a very yummy steak restaurant up from the hotel - definitely a must. If you are vegan - I would check what there's to offer as it was quite meat, veg, salad focused but the hotel might make food that you eat. Overall came home happy with the hotel and what it had to offer - definitely recommend. Normally, by April, we already enjoy warmer temperatures and ideal conditions for the beach and pool, but unfortunately this is something beyond our control.In terms of the pool temperature, please note that one of our pools is heated during the winter season, although outdoor temperatures and wind can still influence how the water feels.Concerning language, almost all of our staff speak English and always do their best to communicate and assist our international guests. We regret if at any moment this was not your experience.With regard to the food, we offer a daily varied buffet including pasta, rice, potatoes, pizza, as well as a wide selection of fish, chicken, meats, vegetables, and salads, with variations each day to cater to different tastes and nationalities.Regarding the beach, it is a natural environment that changes with the seasons.
