  Everything works like clockwork in this hotel. It's clean, food is amazing and so are drinks, service is very professional and attentive. Very close to the airport, which is essential after a long flight, but not noisy. We had an issue with the hair dryer and power supply in the room, the technician arrived and fixed it within minutes. Kids loved the kids' club and entertainment. The pool is big and the beach is amazing, albeit artificial. It's a bit expensive compared to other nearby hotels but it's truly 5 star and I think it's worth it. Overall, we had a fanstastic holiday and Sheraton is fully recommended.HOWEVER, one big criticism I have, is the fact they charge for drinking water in lunch and dinner, even on the full board package. This is definitely something to look into as it does leave a bitter taste.

  Currently at the Sheraton on a 9 night stay. We booked the presidential suite and have had a mixed experience. Overall, I would not rate this as a five star experience. The room is a good size and great for the family but the hotel itself seems tired and under staffed. There are things they don’t tell you. The location by the beach is great but be advised that you directly under a flight path. Every few minutes a noisy plane flys over the pool. The grounds are generally well kept but facilities are tired… basketball court is crumbling, tennis court is old and battered with crumbling walls and swimming pool tiles keep popping off! Service during the day is the worst part and many guests complaining. If you want a drink or lunch nearby the pool, your only option is the Veranda bar. The service here is far too slow… to get a bottle of water it can take 15 minutes. They have one person behind the bar and one person taking orders.. it’s a busy pool and often there are 4 or 5 families ahead of you. People give up queueing and walk down to the Eurospar to buy their own drinks. This morning many Sheraton guests were buying drinks in this supermarket purely because they don’t want to queue for a soft drink. I also find the half board situation odd and different from other places. You can get a water or coffee at breakfast but you will be charged for a water at dinner. I also found the service lacking at breakfast, normally at a 5 star hotel you will be offered tea or coffee on arrival and this is served… not here. For a coffee you need to get up and queue at a coffee machine. Overall, this hotel seems understaffed and outdated. I personally wouldn’t classify the facilities or service 5 star but I must point out, the staff are lovely, pleasant and polite.   Shocking half board drinks situation

  I cannot understand a half board policy that includes alcohol at breakfast but doesn't provide free drinking water for children and infants at dinner time. This was not made clear in the Jet2Holidays booking policy and is an astonishingly poor choice and horrendously over policed. The service is slow unless you bring your own water to dinner in which case they will be on you like a flash. If it's a cost thing why are you serving booze at breakfast? We're talking about not having water available for under 2 year olds. Would have considered an alternative had this been made clear. Therefore, drinks during dinner are not included.Please also allow us to reassure you that parents are absolutely welcome to bring a baby bottle for infants during dinner service.
