This welcoming hotel is situated in the middle of an attractive 600-m² garden area in the tourist centre of Gerona, just 10 minutes from the city centre. The surrounding area is full of shops, boutiques, vibrant bars and fabulous restaurants. The nearest beach is approximately 30 km away. Public transport departs from stops located directly in front of the hotel.

Facility

2 suites, 5 single rooms and 40 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     Exactly what we needed in an Hotel

    I travelled to Girona with my mother in May 2026 and stayed at the Hotel Costabella. It was perfect for our needs. We had a more-than-adequate, spotlessly clean triple room for the two of us, with the added bonus of Rituals products in the bathroom! The continental breakfast was wonderful. and we had dinner one night which was a delight. There is an 'honesty box' system in operation for drinks and snacks during the day and I hope it works well as its a great idea. The pool was clean and perfect for a drip in the hot weather. This hotel is situated approximately four bus-stops from Girona itself, a very walkable city. We had no complaints at all.The staff lovely and friendly, and helped us out on the last night to make our flight which we nearly missed due to circumstances beyond our control. We will be forever grateful to Anya who was particularly helpful. I would recommend the Hotel Costabella to anyone.

    Stayed 2 nights here recently having stayed in June 2025. Great hotel about 25 mins walk into old town Girona. Rooms are bright, modern, well equipped and clean .Really comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities and a mini fridge which are useful. Breakfast was excellent and replenished often ,well worth the price. There is a pleasant, sheltered pool area with loungers round it. There are a couple of small public rooms including one with an honesty bar. Easy to get to from the airport or travelling up through Spain to France. Would definitely recommend staying here.

    Nice small hotel just outside Girona city centre. Hotel itself is tidy and smart. Rooms and facilities were excellent. Staff also friendly and helpful. A 20 minute walk into town. Free car parking was appreciated.

    Stayed for a long weekend. Comfortable room with basics meeting our requirements. Breakfast good. Room cleaning was a bit hit an miss miss with one morning being missed. Breakfast in was excellent. Not the most attrctive area but access to town was fine.

    We had an excellent night’s stop. The hotel is easy to find and has secure overnight parking. The staff were absolutely superb, warm, friendly and welcoming. They have a really good system for eating if you have a dog with you. Our little dog was made to feel like another guest, which made all the difference. The large double room was exceptionally clean, spacious and well equipped. We feel it was good value for money. We even found a tiny fridge for keeping items chilled - very useful.A good night’s sleep is always important and we were not disturbed at all - feeling refreshed in the morning and ready to take the short walk into the beautiful little city of Girona.Our evening meal and breakfast were delicious and the waiting staff were very attentive and friendly. All staff showed a genuine interest in us as guests.The hotel itself is very well thought out and organised. Thank you for a great stay, we will return again soon!
