    Stayed for a week in march. 1st impression is that it is not really overlooking the marina. You have to go down a side street to get access. From our room we had a balcony & only from the corner of this could we see the marina, There is no table or chairs in the balcony so I feel this is a wasted space.The room was kept clean & tidy. We did have to ask for more coffee as this was not filled up. The toiletries were of good quality & smelt lovely, I do think you need more coat hangers & maybe some draws,. Drinks are the bar are expensive. We had an issue with the safe & they had to come & put a new safe in, The location is a distance from the beach but there is local buses that you can get from a nearby stop & can get a card to use. 10 trips for 10 €. Once you get the feel for the area the old quarter is not that far away. We didn’t use the gym or pool. But overall our stay was good.

    Nice hotel, beds a bit firm for us, but most people would like. Good pillows, rooms kept very clean. Disadvantages. Not in great location, on busy main road and not as close to historic quarter as expected . Some cafes nearby but a walk to the main town and restaurants. Noise proofing, almost non existent, can hear people in next room talking, not what they are saying but talking. Particularly a pain as they have come in at 2:30, 6:30 and 1:30 for the three nights so far we have been here. Even without windows open can hear traffic and construction work on site opposite from 8am except Sunday. Admittedly the construction work will be gone once the work is complete. Can hear people going to the loo, showering and filling the bath in rooms adjacent and above. The balcony only cost £40 for the week, but no chairs and only two in the room, and one of those difficult to move outside. The ocean view is accurate but it is a freight port, so the view consists of cranes and tankers. The first day the coffee sachets were replenished but from the second day only one of each, decaffeinated and normal. There is a krups coffee maker but this doesn't work. Nice toiletries and plenty of towels. Bar is expensive but as expected in a hotel. Sometimes table service, other times not. No outdoor space to sit in except rooftop pool, but too windy this week to sit out.     Old and run down, moldy smell in the room. Chipped floor, leaking shower, rusty furniture in the bathrom. Hairdryer mount loosened, quite slow wifi.     Rude staff & Stinks of sewerage 🤢

    Staff are rude! Rooms stink of sewerage! massively lets the budget Marriott chain down. I expected budget. I didn’t expect rude staff & pure disgusting smells my whole trip! Haven’t eaten here so can’t comment on that. Bar staff are friendly & helpful. Reception staff, pure rude! Coming from an avid traveller I’m honestly disgusted & by would never return to this hotel.
