  Had a great time at arco iris Great apartment, great location , pool cleaned every night , couldn't ask for any more really enjoyed stay . The only minor small point is maybe a kettle in room save having boil water in pan but apart from that loved it an would definitely return , stayed in playa del ingles many times an this was our favourite

  The hotel Arco Iris in Gran Canaria definitely did not deserve its ranking

  We have received a rather mixed opinion about the hotel, therefore many minuses in this review.A worn hotel, however, with a good location, a small kitchenette with insufficient equipment, unfresh bathroom that should be freshened up.Sloppy staff at the reception. At check-in the receptionist neither smiled nor said welcome, just sighed and we didn't feel welcome at all. You do not receive any information on arrival about the apartment and facilities at the hotel. The reception's opening hours did not match at all, sometimes it closed earlier than what was written on the door and often it opened later, it was otherwise open too little. Hope the staff will be replaced next time you come there and the reception will keep opening hours.No remote control for the TV in the room, poor picture on many channels and no free internet but weak internet for a fee, you can't listen to music or watch movies, still you have to pay a fee.The rooms in the hotel are very responsive, not for someone who wants to sleep well and uninterrupted at night.The magnetic card for the entrance door works like that and can be a bit difficult to get in if you are tired or drunk in the evening and want to unlock the door, it doesn't work.Sparingly equipped kitchen. More pans needed, we found no wine glasses in the kitchenette in a wine country like Spain, which surprised us. It accepts drinking wine from juice glasses that were in the cabinet.The stress point is that the cleaning staff start running up the stairs early, making noise and rattling completely unnecessarily, they wake up guests who are still sleeping. If you're on holiday, you don't want to be woken up early. In the bathroom, towels and bed linen can sometimes feel not really clean, please use a more effective detergent for washing.In general, none of us who traveled would recommend this apartment hotel.

  Nice apparments almost at the beach and close to Cita shoppingcenter

  Small appartments with nice seaview and lovely gardens and swimmingpools. The appartment was not big, but big enough for two people. We were 4 peoples and got appartment side by side. The complex had several small buildings with garden and pool outside each building. The apparments had some kitchen equipment so you cold make breakfast, lunch and dinner, if you wanted. Nice and clean. The bed was good to sleep in. You can walk out from the garden and out to the beachwalk and down som stairs to come to the beach. Quiet area, but only 5-7 minutes walk up to the Cita shoppingcenter and some restaurants. I enjoided the 1 week stay very much, and I probably will stay there later, too.

  Arco Iris is very close to the sea and thats the bestWe stayed in house 3.The apartement had better days, there are better options nearby. Maybe the other houses are better and fresher?You have to pay for TV and WiFi. First time it was not incl at Gran CanariaPoorly equiped, the coffee machine worked badly. Safe was from 1900's (Old, loud when u open and closed it).Unfriendly welcome, they should have better customers service. The couple before us got all information and at our turn no information. No smile nothing.All other staff extremly friendy and serviceminded.Sad for us there was constraction work 2 days from 0815-1815. Pool area nice. Arco Iris is ok but they need to be renovation, as mention before there are better places nearby

  Ok apartment near the beach

  It's clean, but a bit old, the apartments have great location and just a few minuters from the beach, the wifi cost extra, the tv cost extra... Nice pool, not big, but clean, choose uper leavel so you have view to the ocean, near Maspalomas dessert and all restaurants att the beach, l will live here again just because it's near everything l want, the staff who meet us at 02:30am couldnt speak english, not a word... Remember there is cookroaches in Gran Canaria! Turn om the light! They are big!
