Location

The hotel is located in Playa del Inglés, just 100 m from the beach. The Yumbo shopping centre is 600 m away. Guests will find restaurants, bars and links to the public transport network just 150 metres from the hotel. San Fernando is approximately 3 km from the hotel and San Fernando bus station is around 3 km away. Las Palmas is roughly 60 km away and it is around 35 km to Gran Canaria Airport.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 15 apartments. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. To ensure guests a comfortable and relaxing stay, the adults-only hotel provides various services and facilities, including a safe, a library, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a smoke alarm. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage (no extra charge) and a car park (no extra charge). Services include a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Guests have garden view from the balcony or terrace, which are standard amenities of some rooms. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the double bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station and oven. A telephone, a TV and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub.

Sport

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. There are many ways to relax or stay active adults-only hotel, including cycling/mountain biking, windsurfing, diving, a gym, a spa, a sauna and massage treatments. A dance club offers fun and entertainment.

Meals

Half board can be booked. Breakfast and dinner are served every day.

    first time here and i will definitely come back. Really comfy apartment with two coffee machines and a kettle!! what more could a Brit want, oh wait free coffee, yes, just ask! A nice bottle of quality cava on arrival and a continental breakfast hanging on the door each day was a lovely surprise. The apartments are 5 min from the beach, 5 min from Cita and 10 min max to Yumbo, so in walking distance from everything. I’ve been coming to Gran Can for 26 years and I think this is my favourite place. It’s so relaxed. A warm pool (yes!) nice jacuzzi and sauna just top it off. Thanks to the team Inma, Adri and Rodri, who couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Just perfect.

    We had a Fabulous time at the Atlantic Sun Beach Hotel .The attention to detail was exceptional absolutely spotless accommodation with a service that was both kind and professional. The team of Inma Alex and Rodrigo we're a delight to meet. There was never a problem no matter what we requested from them . Thanks for making our Holliday a very special one . We can't wait to see you all again soon love Noel & Pat ❤️

    I’ve just had a wonderful week staying at this lovely property. As others have said the staff are delightful, the place is spotlessly clean and the rooms are spacious and modern. I found the bed and the pillows wonderfully comfortable and the shower brilliant. The fact that it was clothing optional was a key deciding factor for me, I’d say 80-90% of guys were naked but there was no pressure if people opted not to be. Was mainly British guys (unusually) and age ranged from early 30s to 60. Everyone very friendly, not pretentious and no drama! I’ll definitely be back. Thank you to the team

    This is a very nice place for a relaxing holiday. All of the team at the Atlantic Sun are amazing, so friendly and helpful, I cannot praise them enough!We stayed in a ground floor apartment (101) and would definitely recommend these ground floor apartments as you have direct access to the pool area. All other apartments on the first and second floors are accessible only at the rear of the building. Note that the ground floor and second floor apartments (101-105, and 301-305) are premium apartments, so if you book a premium apartment you are not guaranteed a ground floor apartment. You will need to request direct with MOW hotels (don’t rely on an Agoda special request if you book via Agoda). The apartments are spacious with a kitchen containing a fridge, 2 ring electric hob, microwave oven, sink, Lavazza coffee machine and pods, and plenty of cooking equipment Bathroom has a good shower with plenty of hot water. Bathroom towels are changed daily. Pool towels are also provided. Bedroom has a comfortable double bed abs large wardrobe with safe. The apartment has only one a/c unit in the kitchen/living area, so we kept the bedroom door open at night with the living area a/c unit on and this was adequate even in September. A decent breakfast is supplied each day in a small bag hung on your apartment door containing juice, bread, cereal bar, fruit, butter, jam etc.The pool area is really nice with sun most of the day. Plenty of sunbeds with a good sized pool for a relatively small hotel. There is also a jacuzzi and sauna. The external staircase at the neighbouring apartment block does overlook the pool area but no-one seemed to bat an eyelid when going to and from their apartments there if Atlantic Sun guests were nude sunbathing.The local area is extremely quiet and allows for a very relaxing stay. Yumbo is about 15 minutes walk away and the bars and restaurants at the nearby beach area are less than 10 minutes walk away. We will return here for sure!

    Perfect Resort.

    From the very second we walked into this resort we knew it was perfect for us. Immaculately kept grounds and pool area. Our apartment was beautiful, so clean and tidy. We really appreciated the waiting bottle of cava as we arrived late! We slept soundly every night on a super comfortable bed. Every morning our breakfast bag was delivered to our door, packed with everything you could want/need. Rodrigo and the team were so kind and helpful everyday we met them. We swam and sunbathed everyday, the atmosphere is so chilled and relaxing here. Truly a perfect resort. All shopping and dining/bars are within 10 minutes casual walking. 5 Stars for everything, especially Rodrigo. Thank you for a brilliant week.
