  Been here 2 nights the room already cleaned once it is basic but clean an the staff are friendly an helpful already planning are next trip here

  Was so disappointed as we see this place from the road a few months ago and looked ok it has got a big balcony but was filthy it would help if a broom and mop was in room as the cleaners didn’t go out there the beds were comfortable but a bit stained as were the towels they did clean room and change towels and sheets once no air con which would be so good for rooms in the sun all day but you can hire a fan for a fee and the safe for a fee and the poor internet for a fee plus a 100 euro room deposit . The pool is not open until 10.30 and closes at six sometimes or 6.30 sometimes with lifeguard puttting pressure on beforehand pool is cleaned everyday and all areas hosed down but all the hose does is push and debris and rubbish to the gulley around the edges and left there bins around the pool are emptied everyday night around four in the morning the bar is closed and has been for a few years and the shop as well the playground has been taken out not sure what’s happening there 90% of staff seem miserable and don’t even give you a hola . But the europa centre is over the road and handy which makes it such a shame about this place as it has so much potential

  Honestly, this place was a huge letdown. The pool bar looked amazing in the pictures — cocktails, lights, people — but guess what? CLOSED. The whole time. Just sitting there, empty, like a ghost town.Then there’s the store on the top floor. Also looked open and inviting online. Reality? Locked. Dark. Not a single sign or explanation. It’s like they just gave up on half the hotel and forgot to tell the guests.Now let’s talk about the reception staff — absolutely rude and careless. Every question we asked felt like we were annoying them. No smiles, no help, just bad attitude all around. They only asking about deposits for everything and this is the only time the smile shows on their faces deposit for a fan deposit for the staying deposit even to Flush the toilet. Awful service.The playground is broken and closed like was bombed at the world word 2 or it was affected by the Chernobyl accident pics there as well.The cleaning service was poor but not the worst.And the worst part? One day, the entire pool was closed because someone took a dump in it. Yes, a literal poop incident. No apology, no explanation — just a sign that said “closed for maintenance.” Honestly, that says everything about the hotel’s standards. Plus the life guard was showing up to open this awful pool with at least 45 minutes delay maybe she was hangover for the night before.The service in general? Terrible. No one seemed to care, and everything felt like it was falling apart behind the scenes.If you’re thinking about booking this place because of the nice pictures — don’t. It’s all fake advertising. I honestly couldn’t wait to leave.

  Decent hotel for what you pay for, good sized balcony outside. Beds were ok I would say but they did the job. Good sized pool outside with 2 smaller ones on either side. Decent value for what we paid, but personally felt like the reception staff weren't very helpful whenever we asked for anything (wifi etc) came across a bit rude.Which you had to pay for by the way.. anything you have to pay for (no air con either) Probably will go back to Greece next time, people there generally happy to have you! All in all, not bad.

  Babalu is cheap and cheerful.The view is lovely.Basic apartments beds are so comfortable.We got to keep our apartment for late check out as our flight wasn't until 8.30pm.We go for outside space as you don't spend your time indoors and we had a ground floor apartment which was perfect.Spotless pool and well maintained.So peaceful at night.My only critic is the sheets weren't changed which I think they should be at least halfway through your week.
