    We like city breaks and this is the ideal spot to stay if you want to see the historic part of Las Palmas, Gran Canaria’s. It is an old building that has been beautifully renovated, and blends the past with the present. There are plenty of places to eat at reasonable prices within walking distance, as well as coffee and cake shops and an amazing ice cream shop.But even so it is nice and peaceful, very little outside noise, and the street outside is washed down every day.You can easily walk to the cathedral and several museums, some are free entry, but those who charge the amount is minimal.There is a hop-on-hop-off bus that stops on the main road, and which takes a good route around the city. You can get off at Santa Catalina where there are also good places to eat.Breakfast has a good selection of different items - eggs, sausage, bacon, cereals, bread, and great fresh fruit, and you can choose what you like. There is also a selection of fruit juices and coffees.There is a small swimming pool on the roof terrace, where there is also a small bar.The staff have good local knowledge which is helpful.     Staying at Cordial La Peregrina was an experience that genuinely resets your expectations of what a city hotel can offer. Right in the heart of Triana, you’re perfectly positioned to explore Las Palmas. Despite being so central, the hotel feels very calm and well insulated from the city. The reception team was very helpful from the start, offered recommendations and always checked in to make sure everything was doing OK. They answered all the questions we had about the city, places to visit, where to eat, local spots that weren’t too touristy... It made exploring the city much easier and more enjoyable. The rooftop is also a standout feature! They have a bar with a great atmosphere, and a pool to cool off when it’s hot. Overall, this goes beyond what you typically expect from a city hotel, we’d definitely return!     A memorable stay in a charming, historic quarter of Las Palmas.

    An unrivalled location in the historic centre of Las Palmas, Hotel Cordial La Peregrina is an ideal base from which to explore the city and island. Within the classic form of the building is an interior which is contemporary and restful. The historic photographs on the walls a reminder of the rich history of the city and Gran Canaria. My room on the first floor was generous in size with a good bed and well appointed bathroom with a walk-in shower for safety. Room cleaning was rigorous and thorough. The breakfast area is compact, so I made sure I was down early enough not to have to wait and have a good choice of breakfast items. Above all, the staff were unfailing helpful, which made my stay both pleasant and memorable. No request was too much trouble. I would definitely stay again.
