Location

The hotel is located in the tourist area of San Agustín, along the promenade which runs in front of the sandy beach. In the vicinity guests will find many shops, bars, restaurants and a casino. San Agustín shopping centre is 2 km from the hotel, the Playa del Ingles tourist centre is 3 km away, and the capital, Las Palmas, is approximately 55 km away.

Facility

232 rooms and a suite are located on 7 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The holiday village has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a library. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently.

Rooms

Air conditioning and adjustable central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the double bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms.

Sport

The pool complex includes both indoor and outdoor pools, which are in part heated. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. A variety of activities are available at the complex, for example bocce, beach volleyball, golf and archery or, for a fee, tennis and volleyball. Water sports enthusiasts are offered water aerobics. The complex offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, darts, callisthenics and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon, Ayurveda treatments and a solarium. Subject to charge: massage treatments. The complex offers an entertainment programme for adults.

Meals

The dining area includes a bar. A number of specialities await guests in the air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurant. Catering options include half board, full board and all-inclusive. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras like snacks, in addition to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner offer plenty of delicious variety. Gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction.

    This has been our second time at this hotel which has a nice friendly feel with plenty of varied activities bringing people together. The staff are generally friendly with particular note for the animation team. The pool attendants kept the area organised and extremely tidy.The gardens are well maintained and the restaurant food was good quality and varied. We have seen however a decline in standards which has spoilt our experience this time. We won a bottle cava from one of the activities which we obtained from the pool bar which we then took into the restaurant. However, when we took it into the restaurant that night, the wine waiter got very irate allowing it to break into an argument with him saying the bottle should have been obtained from the restaurant not the pool bar. This rule is not stated anywhere and what difference does it make to the hotel where we obtained the cava from?The general fabric of the hotel has declined including the swimming pool paint lifting off the floor: garden pathways lifting up causing trip hazards and the breaking up of the shuffleboard game area rendering that as difficult to play on.Many cockroaches were found around the sun terraces at night particularly around the ping pong table area where there were too many to count.Insufficient staffing around the evening entertainment areas, so despite being on a fully inclusive, you cannot easily obtain a drink. I don’t understand that if you’re wearing a green all inclusive wrist band, that when ordering a drink, you have to disclose your room number too. This new policy undermines the security of the place by sharing with guests sitting in the immediate vicinity that your room is unoccupied!!

    Made a visit to this hotel. However the hotel staff were rude and dismissive. They refused to allow a 5 year old very very well behaved child to send a post card to her school for a school project. Staff had no compassion despite the hotel reception area being completely empty. Post box it to the right as you enter. However your not allowed to make the 5 steps required to get to it. Would rather see a 5 year old child cry at the thought of her not completing her school project as a cost of making a 30 second exception to the adult only rule. Not one ounce of humanity.

    A Hotel that becomes part of your family.....

    Location - perfect, Short transfer from the airport. We left home in the UK at 11am, were in the Escape Lounge by 12 and in the bar at the Costa Canaria by 8.30pm. Atmosphere- perfect, peace, tranquility, no kids, no excess noise and plenty to join in with if you wish. Rooms - perfect, clean, comfortable and lovely balconies. The food was, as always, divine and varied. If you have allergies etc exercise caution, the rules are different. The staff are fantastic and it was nice to see Trainees starting what could be a long career there. Many recognisable faces from the staff to returning customers, this was our 4th visit and again perfection from the sunbed tags to the relaxed atmosphere its a great switch off and unwind holiday. Easy access to the miles of sea front, a bus stop right outside and nearby shops for bits and bobs. Already booked for 2027!!

    Lovely hotel if you like quiet nights and don't smoke

    The hotel does have a lot of positives. For example the dead sea pool in the spa is really relaxing. The food was tasty, especially the pizza bar. But....I wish we had heeded the reviews about the atmosphere and smoking. I assumed that other reviewers were being ageist when they spoke about everyone being 60 and over. That isn't the issue, at home some of the wildest nights at the pub are over 60s 😂 its more that the crowd at this hotel were very quiet. Come 10pm everyone is quietly playing uno and any kind of noise or fun is frowned upon. We didn't feel we could use our balcony at all. Even quiet talking was shushed. The other big thing is DO NOT BOOK IF YOU ARE A SMOKER.Smoking is not allowed in the hotel AT ALL. Not on your balcony, not at the bars, nowhere. If you want to smoke you have to leave the hotel and smoke out on the road at the front. Look, if you are a non smoker this will be great news for you. I'm also aware that this will be how it is more and more but it seemed draconian. I just wanted one spot in the hotel where I could have a cigarette with my drink.So yeah, if you want a super quiet holiday and don't smoke it's perfect. We spent most of our time out of the hotel in the end, which was expensive when we'd paid for all inclusive.

    Fantastic hotel. My friend and I celebrated our young 😉 70th birthday here.Fabulous clean hotel and relaxing/ fun holiday.Food very good, great selection.Dinning room staff helpful. Massive thank to Yuri, a fantastic addition to the hotel, above and beyond/ thank you. We would recommend 100%
