    By mistake I made a double booking, and even worse, double payment. All attempts to contact City room for a refund were not answered at all. I shall NEVER Go there again.PS. Other visitors stole my beer fem the fridge ☹️

    Cockroaches, queues & noise

    This is a hostel, not a hotel! The shared amenities (kitchenette and shower/toilet) make it a frustrating place.We found cockroaches in the kitchen on our first day, and to be fair, the owners did something about it straight away.The room was pokey and dark - the small window looked into a wall and metallic pipe.Our fellow guests took our food, made noise (eg hairdryers and slamming doors at 3am) and because the toilet and shower are shared with 4 other rooms, and in one room, the wait can be infuriatingly long. The faulty blind in the shower room means that people can see in from other overlooking windows.Central location is good, but there is NO Golf facility. No airport shuttle was ever offered and the ‘concierge’ is limited to 9-3:30.

    Great little place. So very clean. The couple who looks after the place are very kind and very helpful.the kitchen is shared as is the bathroom however there is both on all 3 floors so your not kept waiting, Again spotlessly clean. Oven microwave kettle etc. Beds very cosy ,rooms nice and modern. Tv in room.Good locacation. The only problem we had the elec went off couple times for 15 mins not sure if this an on going problem. 5 min walk to bus station where you can get all over the island.(teror) fab place. An ideal short winter break.
