This attractive apartment complex is located in the tourist centre of Puerto Rico just 100 m away from links to the public transport network and plenty of restaurants, bars, pubs, nightclubs and shopping opportunities (200 m away). The wonderful beach is only around 1.5 km away.

Facility

184 apartments are available to guests in a 5-storey main building and a 2-storey auxiliary building. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services and facilities include a safe, a currency exchange service, a newspaper stand, 24-hour room service, an alarm call service and a laundry service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The apartment hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage and a car park.

Rooms

Air conditioning and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Some rooms have a balcony, which gives guests additional space for rest and relaxation. Rooms include a sofa bed.     Dont believe what you see,they are all saying about these apartments, they are very clean,nice staff and although we go self catering have seen the food and looks good,manager always there looking over things ,sunbeds and everything kept cleaner than 5 star hotels

    Will not be returning to the calina mar, hotel needs updating bedrooms are old and tatty. Food is cold, salad bar was warmer.Pool area was shocking no toilet you have to go back to your apartment if you need to go.Not a clean pool, did not see anyone clean it all week.Bar staff are rude, you can't get a drink till 11am Staff look dirty and aggressive, entertainment was shocking.You have to pay £20 euros for WiFi / hairdryer and remote control which you get back at the end of your stay.If you want to get drunk and just a bed this is the hotel to stay in.Absolutely shocking hotel would not recommend to anyone please avoid.

    We recently stayed at Colina Mar on Gran Canaria. We had originally booked Hotel Mozart, but were offered a stay at Colina Mar by the hotel manager, Anne Nielsen, which we accepted.Anne Nielsen first called my girlfriend and left a voicemail, asking her to call back and explaining that she would then return the call so we could avoid international call charges. When my girlfriend returned the call, Anne answered immediately, which resulted in a 14 euros charge for a very short call.After we arrived, we then went to the reception to explain the situation in person. Anne responded very briefly, was very apethetic to the situation, and said only “that’s how it is when calling an international number,” offering no explanation or attempt to resolve the issue. Her tone and body language made the interaction very uncomfortable for us, and we felt ignored and dismissed as guests.While the hotel itself was acceptable for the price (although the food was subpar), this experience with the management was unpleasant and unprofessional, and it negatively affected our stay.Do yourself a favor and dont stay here

    Food on all inclusive was shockingly poor, very little for the kids, breakfast was ok but dinner appeared to be left overs from lunch.all the usual all inclusive food like pizza, burgers, nuggets .... could be ordered for an extra cost.We are not fussy eaters and we ended up eating out. Hotel were not interested. Most of the staff were friendly enough though. Entertainment was typical of the all inclusive resort. If it wasn't for the food we may have returned.

    Travelled here March 2026 as a couple. Apartments are located extremely high up, therefore, quite a lot of hills and steps. Entertainment was a bit outdated. There was a yellow weather warning with torrential rain the first few days and our room was flooded, with the water actually going into the bedroom and not much help to sort it. If you are picky with foods then I would not choose the all inclusive option, snacks like burgers, hotdogs etc are not included in the AI and you have to pay an additional price for these, we were not made aware of this at the time of booking. Pool closes at 5pm and the lifeguard is extremely abrupt and starts moving sun loungers etc much earlier than the closing time. There is no air con in the apartment, a fan which barely works is in the room to try and use … Severely understaffed, with most staff not being very pleasant. The entertainment guy Gavi was extremely accommodating and tried to ensure people had a good time. A positive is the views are stunning. Additional prices for WiFi, remote control, hairdryer etc. Average experience, wouldn’t book again.
