Location

This popular hotel is located at the heart of the tourist centre, directly beside the sandy beach of Playa de las Burras (about 2 km from the large Playa del Inglés). There is a shopping centre with shops, restaurants, cafés and bars located across the road from the hotel. Public transport services are to be found 100 m away; while Gran Canaria airport is approximately 25 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 14 suites and 229 double rooms, which are located on 9 storeys and are reachable by 4 lifts. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Travellers with their own cars can use the parking spaces (for a fee) (subject to availability). Further services include a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, an alarm call service and a laundry service. Bicycle storage for no extra charge is available to guests. Rooms

The rooms include air conditioning (no extra charge), a living area and a bathroom. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a sofa bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. For guests' convenience, units include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. Equipped with a direct dial telephone, a flatscreen television with satellite channels and WiFi (no extra charge), the rooms provide many ways for guests to stay connected and entertained. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. A selection of pillows ensures a comfortable stay. The bathrooms have a shower and a bathtub. Third-party operators offer a spa, a sauna, steam bath, beauty salon and massage treatments. The hotel offers an entertainment programme for adults (no extra charge).

Meals

Dining facilities include a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Catering is provided by an air-conditioned, non-smoking buffet restaurant. Catering options include half board, full board and all-inclusive. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras like snacks, in addition to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. For breakfast (continental and English), lunch, and dinner, guests serve themselves at the buffet or choose their favourite dishes from the à la carte options (for lunch). Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, lactose-free food and vegan food can be prepared on request. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction.     Great hotel in the perfect location to enjoy the beach and be in walking distance to Maspalomas. Rooms are renovated and very large, food is amazing with a huge variety at breakfast and dinner buffets and the staff is super friendly. A great place to relax and enjoy being next to the beach. Special thanks to the very friendly team at the reception and to these 3 staff members at the restaurant that made our stay even better: Rosa from the breakfast team, who always got us into a great mood starting the day with the best breakfast and Raquel and Eduardo from the restaurant team that were super friendly and helpful every evening, so that we could enjoy the dinner even more, thanks a lot!     Amazing Sea views

    Don Gregory By Dunas in San Augustin.Firstly the negatives…. None that I could find.Positives, amazing bedrooms with the finest sea views .Bedrooms were clean and maids came every day. Cleaners started very early, cleaning the pool area, waiting areas and then moving to the bedrooms. Its apparent this hoteltakes hygiene importantly. The food was varied and wide ranging with a themed night, Mexican, Italian etc. The waiters quick to serve and helpful . Particular praise to the chefs at the live cooking station who where eager to please, the chef at the egg cooking station in the mornings and the onescooking the meats in the evening.If hiring a car, it is advisable to book a car parking space at the hotel which is roughly 10/12 euros a day. Parking around the area is hard to find and I believe the shopping centre opposite charges in the region of 20 euros a day .We were catching a late fight and the hotel were unable to accommodate our request for a late checkout. However they offered a room with a shower for one hour which was free and very helpful.The location is perfect, direct access to the beach with a long promenade whereby you can walk to Maspolomas if you wanted. We walked to Playa Ingles each night which took about 1 hour(there and back). The beach is immaculate.Recommendations for the hotel.. petty but when the waiters serve coffee in the mornings, they give a large coffee flask with another the same size with milk. We only used 20% and each day kept leaving 80% of milk unused/wasted. Would be better to serve milk in much smaller jugs to prevent wastage.Would we stay here again….absolutley yes!!
