  Accused of lying when we were in the right and treated very badly

  We picked this place as it was opposite where my Sister was staying for her 60th birthday and those apartments were fully booked. Long story but short versión is that our cleaning was never done on the days stated and the result was a bunch of líes being told by them saying it had been done and basically accusing my friend and i of lying and having a bad attitude. We are two of the most easy going, friendly, laid back people you could ever meet but, being treated badly by people who are supposed to be offering a service which we pay for, was not on. On our very last day, our toilet wouldn't work and the maintanence Man, who heard us mention it to receptionist (a different one!) Went to fix it. We also spoke about the cleaning again and this girl INSISTED it had been done. We argued but she basically accused us of lying. We said we were leaving that night so there was no point in cleaning now. However, when we got back,....for just a few hours more, it had been thoroughly cleaned and new towels left.....how stupid!!!! Wecan only think that maintanence man must have realised no cleaning had been done!!!. We will definitely not be back and not recommend it to anyone. Written by regular traveller to Gran Canaria as my son lives there and I have worked for 36 years in tourism in ibiza and have never experienced such bad service

  Excellent location, at walking distance to Jumbo Centre (shops, bars, restaurants), the beach, and the bus stop to go to the airport too. I love the South facing balcony with the swimming pool views (swimming pool is open from 10am to 6pm), it is very sunny. From the top floors you can see a bit of the Ocean far on the left-hand side. The apartment is spacious and has the basics. Good free WiFi. The flat screen TV has some international channels.It is great value for money. It is not luxurious. However, it has all that you may need. Good feel.Staff are friendly and helpful.I was there on a few occasions before and would repeat my stay.

  I'd stayed at Las Gacelas several years prior and had a pleasant experience again. The hotel was clean and it was easy to check in, and the lady at reception was very helpful and friendly - we arrived a bit early but they got the room ready for us before the usual check-in time.The apartment could do with some updating - don't expect anything too fancy - but was a perfect bolt-hole for us and excellent for the location and price. The Yumbo Centre is about a minute away, it's less than 15 minutes to the beach, and there are two shops located just across the road.Only downsize was that the room wasn't cleaned at any point through the holiday (which was fine as we weren't overly bothered, but this does contradict some of the other reviews, and I didn't realise we'd have to ask for clean towels and more toilet roll) and the reception is not always manned.

  I can not give an excellent but for the price it was a very plesent experience. We arrived at around 8.30pm due to a festival we could not get near to the hotel so walked. Everyone was having a fantastic time. Got into the property and called the outfit hours number. They gave us the code to the key safe and we were on our way to the 5th floor. View was great and could people watch all day if you wanted to. We had a small leek but I found room service and they came and sorted it right away with smiles. The reception is not 24/7 but when they were there they were very friendly and plesent. There is a small gym with a working treadmill. Would I return? As a travel snob the answer is yes if my budget was tight.

  We have stayed numerous times here and never had any issues apart from asking for extra pillows/loo roll etc, Always spotlessly clean, attentive maid service and clean bedding and towels throughout our stay, however, on this visit our arrival was just after 6pm and the reception staff had left. The phone numbers on reception didn't connect! The QR code on the wall didn't work either? Eventually my husband got through and a chap who liked the on call maintenance arrived and politely checked us in to room 301 which is the end apartment on 3rd floor (yellow block) Love the apartments here... spacious, clean, quiet too..
