  Missing hoodie

  I had a wonderful time I had booked to go back in October while I was there except now I have cancelled unfortunately I left my hoodie in the room the morning I was leaving I didn’t realise until 4 hours later where I went straight to the receptionist who tried ringing the housekeeper but they didn’t answer they said they would try again I went back to the receptionist I asked if I could speak to the manager: deputy / assistant but got told none were in the building?! I got given the email address to send a message which I did but even after sending the video of my hoodie hanging in the wardrobe they said they had spoken to the cleaner and they had said nothing was found? It’s unbelievable very sad and would like to advise anyone if you go make sure all valuables are I the safe.   Wonderful family break

  We have just spent 5 nights here as a family of 3 and our only regret is not staying a few more nights! The rooms are really spacious including the balconies, and the sea views are breathtaking. There is plenty of choice for food and we enjoyed eating on the restaurant terrace with a sea view! It’s clearly a large hotel but we never felt like it was busy or overcrowded because of the layout. Always plenty of sun beds no matter what time we went down to the pool. Thank you to all of the lovely staff!   Family Holiday in May

  Having stayed here over many years with my in-laws and now with my own children and grandchildren coming here i have seen many changes some for good some no so much .Rooms; the new rooms in block 2 are very finished and im glad they have put a door on toilet for extra privacy, rooms cleaned ok and water replaced each day no complaints cleaning lady was lovely.Reception : not very friendly and asking for change or enquiring about bus service seemed too much for them to answer { lots of staff training}Pool Bar: staff are lovely and friendly especially Kevin great smile and good worker .Restaurant: staff very friendly and professional but they why the restaurant is layed out you could be walking around for ages trying to get something to eat not all meat and veg near each other, my personal opinion is the food is very much to the scandinavian palette, but you will find something to eat so you wont go hungry if All Inclusive.Entertainment: Karoake good fun and should be on longer maybe 2 days a week , acts are much better then in past years , just a pity kids running around spoil it for those who have no kids trying to watch acts, maybe parents can be asked before the show to keep children seated , i witnessed kids on stage and throwing popcorn on stage while acts were singing , no security or management around to control.we were here as a Family group would we return ... YES we were very disappointed the lift and walkway were closed due to renovations .   This was our 4th visit and there will not be a 5th unfortunately. People smoking around the pool, staff not intervening even though it’s not allowed. Children running riot during the evening entertainment (after 9.30) sitting on the stage whilst artists trying to perform, throwing popcorn around the dance floor, one child even sat on the stage eating their dinner whilst the artist were performing, neither staff or parents seem to do anything, this is not what I would expect at a 4star hotel.   Lovely hotel but room for improvement

  The hotel itself is beautiful. Especially the views from the pool areas and the restaurant. It’s very clean everywhere and staff are constantly maintaining this throughout the day.The rooms (ours it least) was very spacious. The bed comfortable and very big.The food is the restaurant was very fresh. Plenty but not lots to choose from. Not great if you are a vegetarian.The location is great. Close to the beautiful clean beach. Also only a 15 minute bus journey away from the stunning puerto de mogan. Definitely worth a visit, especially on market day.The only negatives I would give this hotel during our stay was.The safe didn’t work, meaning we had to call for maintenance to retrieve our belongings on four consecutive days before we decided to give up on it.The TV didn’t work the whole time we were here. We reported it on more than one occasion but fell on deaf ears. It’s handy to have to entertain little ones while getting ready.We left €5 in change on the side half way through our stay and when we returned to our room one day the maid had taken it leaving a thank you note!!I wouldn’t have minded, but she hadn’t been great in the couple of times she had been in the room. The room was more tidied than cleaned. Not that it needed much tidying in the first place.Mirrors were still smeared, shampoo in the shower area was empty and never filled until asked and bottles of water not replenished. She wasn’t particularly friendly or helpful on the occasions we spoke to her about our empty shampoo or missing water.The bar staff by the pool are very relaxed. They’ll happily chat amongst themselves, tidy round and collect glasses before serving you first. We liked the bar area by the reception because it was a little quieter although again you will wait quite some time to be served as there was only ever one person on at a time and there could be quite a queue. This area would have benefited with a little background music to add a little bit of atmosphere. There was often like music on until around 9:15 pm, which was lovely. After that, it was silent..
