Location

Ideal for beach holidaymakers and families, this hotel is located in Playa Amadores and is not 5 minutes from the sandy beach. The centre with all its tourist hotspots can be reached within around 3 km.

Facility

The reception desk in the lobby is staffed round the clock. Amenities include a safe, a cash machine and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Other services include a car hire service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs. Lectures, presentations and meetings can be held in one of the 7 conference rooms.

    The Gloria Palace Royal was a great hotel. Perfectly situated overlooking the bay of Amadores which is a smaller, quieter resort. The hotel was spacious and rooms were large with a fridge, microwave, sink, kettle and coffee maker which was a bonus. Our room overlooked the bay and was completely private.Upon arrival we were greeted eith a glass of fizz and also had a complimentary bottle of fizz on ice which was unexpected and very welcomed. Food variety was excellent with different themes each evening. The bars by the pools offered snacks and drinks during the day. A short walk from the hotel took you to the beach and there is a nice coastal footpath that winds around to the neighbouring larger bustling resort of Puerto Rico.The only downside to our stay was the very loud music that came from the Amadores Beach Club for a few evenings between 5 and 7pm but this is something out of the hotel's control but it was a little annoying when we wanted to relax on our balcony.Besides this we enjoyed our week long stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we would highly recommend this hotel.     We had a great stay. The rooms and the hotel is very nice. The staff was always helpful and service minded. The food had a great variation, especially the seafood and shellfish. What could have been better is the gym. There were no treadmills that was working, also previous years (2024 and 2025) the treadmills were in poor condition. The pool areas were very nice, but people were reserving sun beds with towels, from 08:00, often we could se that the beds were not occupied until 10 og 11.     Book for a relaxing week in gran canaria

    Booked a last minute break away to gran canaria for some winter sunshine. Never been before and picked Amadores. The Gloria was our number one choice and so pleased we booked. Beautiful hotel set into the cliff overlooking the bay. Clean, helpful and very friendly staff. Room was lovely with huge comfortable bed, very roomy balcony with wicker furniture. Food was excellent here, always ample choice, we were half board. Choice of fresh fish and meat cooked to order every evening. Restaurant staff, bar staff and cleaning staff all deserve a big 👏 Must admit we preferred the upper pool deck as it was quieter than the infinity pool lower down where the animation team were in full swing but that is personal choice. However the pool upstairs was absolutely freezing. Would not hesitate to book here again. 20 minute easy walk along promenade to peurto rico which is much bigger with shops and ferry connection. Perfect place for a week's relaxation. We did not use the spa but it looked nice.     I am still here and I am enjoying the experience immensely. The room I am is a little dated and doesn’t get the sun even though I requested a room with sun . Despite this the staff are fabulous and always have a smile.The food is the best I’ve eaten in a hotel and I have stayed in many many hotels keep up the good work . The walk to the beach is ok if you use the lift on block 4 but it’s a bit steep coming back up . Overall it’s the real deal and would come back in a heartbeat but would request again a room in the sun.
