Location

Ideal for beach holidaymakers, this hotel lies in Playa del Ingles, approximately 1 km from the public sandy beach. There is a bus stop just outside the door.

Facility

The hotel welcomes guests in a 7-storey building with a lift and 431 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided to guests. Guests can get more information about excursions at the tour desk. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park (subject to availability). Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. The rooms have a queen-size bed and a sofa bed. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. Equipped with a direct dial telephone, a flatscreen television and WiFi, the rooms provide many ways for guests to stay connected and entertained. A selection of pillows ensures a comfortable stay. Sport

The outdoor area features 2 pools. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hotel offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including bocce, volleyball, basketball and archery. Water sports enthusiasts are offered water aerobics. The hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, darts, yoga, aerobics and pilates or, for a fee, billiards. There is a wellness area with a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and aromatherapy and, for an additional fee, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Guests can enjoy a range of leisure facilities and activities, including live music and a dance club.

Meals

The dining area includes a bar. Warm hospitality and a cosy atmosphere await guests in 2 non-smoking restaurants. Catering options include half board, full board, all-inclusive and all-inclusive special. A generous and varied breakfast buffet (also for early birds and late risers) provides many delicious reasons to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests serve themselves at the buffet. Gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and lactose-free food can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers snacks. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction.

    Overall the experience was amazing, nice relaxing holiday. The rooms were lovely and immaculate and had regular cleaning in the morning which did seem to be at various different times. The meals were as expected most nights food was lovely but it did become very repetitive and didn’t seem much of a variety for vegans or people who were dairy or gluten intolerant. The location was lovely it wasn’t too far from the beach and we also did a few bits of shopping in surrounding areas there isn’t many party bars but there’s a few food places dotted around. The service was lovely we spoke to the reception staff a few times about recommendations of food places and beaches and they helped us with a map and explained as best they could. We did have one issue myself and my partner were asked by a guy within the building if we wanted some photographs doing to which we agreed. We then paid for a photobook which he said we would recieve emails for the arrange and order. We did infact receive the digital copy’s for the photos and a fridge magnet but after nearly a week and myself emailing twice and reviving no response we have had no contact around our photobook. We paid €275 in total and all we have received is the fridge magnet and the digital photos. This was an expensive decision for us and we have had no further communication we also couldn’t find the man in the building after we had the photos done to try and get some help.     We stayed Tuesday - Saturday May 2026 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly, the hotel was spotless and the pool area was great. Food was good with snack bar until 5pm also. Would stay again!     We recently stayed at the Grand Canaria Princess in Gran Canaria and had a wonderful holiday overall. The hotel was lovely, spotless, and very well maintained throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and hardworking, and everything felt immaculate.The food was excellent with plenty of variety, and drinks were always readily available. We also really enjoyed the entertainment — the team did a fantastic job and it added so much to our holiday.We only had a couple of small criticisms. We found the pool bar was often unattended, and on one occasion when I went inside to order a drink instead, I was told to use the pool bar even though nobody was there. Unfortunately, the staff member inside seemed to think I was exaggerating, which was a little disappointing as I had already tried the pool bar several times.Another small point was that the entertainment was moved outside on the 4th of May. While the atmosphere was lovely, there were times in the evening when it became a little chilly. It might be a nice idea for the hotel to provide blankets for guests in cooler weather.Aside from these minor points, we genuinely had a fantastic time. The hotel was clean and welcoming, the food was wonderful, the entertainment was great, and the staff worked incredibly hard to make everyone’s stay enjoyable.     Happy days at the Princess Hotel

    We arrived at the hotel and had a 1st floor room as per our request. It was a late wedding anniversary treat to ourselves. The hotel did not disappoint from arrival in the room to the evening meal. The hotel was spotless as you would expect and the staff were all very pleasant. We only sat by the pool twice in an afternoon and had no problem finding a bed. The pool was very pleasant to swim in. This was our first visit to Gran Canaria and we had a lot of exploring to do. We didn't hire a car and the bus stop outside the hotel was superb. In the evening the entertainment program was very varied and 6 out of the 7nights were absolutely brilliant. Excellent entertainment and I felt perhaps these shows were off cruise ships, just by the standard of their performance.The food was always very varied with something for everyone. Plenty of hot plates to place your food on. You could eat al fresco if you wanted. There was 3 cats around but they were not allowed inside. I am allergic to cats so was pleased. A short walk to the beach and twice weekly market.Would I revisit?
