The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service and a safe ensure a comfortable stay.     Was looking for cheap place to meet other people and have fun. Found it all. Its not a hotel so basic things were in place, nothing fancy but nice and tidy. Very simple decor but makes it easier to maintain, its family run business so really good vibe.

    1.They have bedbugs…In order to solve the problem they don’t hire a professional exterminator, but rather lock the room once a week for 5-6hours (without letting anyone know in advance) and spray poison on everything, including all your personal stuff. After this everything reeks of poison for an incredibly long time.2.Literally every piece of furniture is broken. The beds are falling apart in the middle of the night, which causes a lot of noise.3.For some inexplicable reason, you’ll find cheaper prices on every other platform than the hostels own website.4.There is construction in the house right next to the hostel (they tear down the house, so it will take a couple months at least), so it’s perfect if you like noise every morning.

    I have one word; AWESOME. The location could not be more perfect, the vibe in the hostel and the volunteers working there just make you want to stay longer. If you are looking for a five star luxury hotel, go somewhere else, but if you are looking for a chill place with good vibes and the friendiest staff and most awesome location for a CRAZY CHEAP PRICE; this is your place. I loved every second of my stay and i cannot wait to return someday!

    I cannot express how much I loved staying here. I came here on a solo trip and from the moment I walked in, volunteers and guests alike were incredibly open and welcoming. The vibe at the hostel is super laid back and they facilitate a bunch of different activities, from surfing and yoga to Taco Tuesdays and communal dinners. Summer vibes were impeccable even in January - the rooftop terrace is a great place to hang out and watch the sunset at the beautiful Playa de las Canteras. Location could not be better since it’s right on the beach and plenty of bars and restaurants are nearby. Facilities are super clean and bright. Even after only a few days, HiTide felt like a real home and I wish I could have stayed longer. Shoutout to the awesome volunteers (especially Eric!) for making this an unforgettable stay! Can’t wait to be back!

    I had such a great stay at Hitide! The volunteers are all awesome, make you feel instantly welcome and go out of their way to include you in activities. The location is perfect, literally meters from the beach. It's a good base to explore Las Palmas and the rest of the island. The hostel itself was so clean, space for surfboards, spacious showers and toilets. Only thing I would have liked would be some curtains for the beds; especially the lower bunks by the door. Overall, I had an amazing stay and I can't wait to come back!
