  Great hotel, multilingual friendly staff, excellent location

  This January, I spent a week at the Doña Luisa. The hotel opened in 2017, and the facilities are well maintained so everything is still in good condition.I informed the hotel of my arrival time and my wish for a corner room, and when I arrived at the hotel at 1 pm, the room was ready and they were indeed able to assign me one of the corner rooms, much appreciated. The room was clean, very nice, well lit and designed with fair colours. It was spacious for a three-star and really offers four-star comfort and amenities. Many four-stars nearby don’t even come close with their worn-out rooms.The room came with fast, unlimited and reliable wifi. There were sockets at the desk and bedside tables so charging your devices was easy. The bed was comfortable. There was a safe, a fridge, a luggage rack and ample closet space. A 0.5 L bottle of water was provided on arrival, not replenished. A/C worked well. The room was cleaned daily.The bathroom came with a walk-in shower, with good water pressure both in the overhead as well as the handheld shower. The bathroom had several amenities usually seen in first-class hotels, such as a razor, a toothbrush etc. Shampoo was provided in individual tubes, shower gel in a wall-mounted container.I found all members of staff, from the receptionists to the breakfast lady and the cleaners, to be very friendly and helpful, and they spoke excellent English at reception.Breakfast was served in the breakfast room in the basement daily from 7 to 10:30 and cost 10 euros, which despite an increase in price from 2025 is still fair. The buffet had several hot and cold options, including melon and serrano ham, eggs fried, boiled and scrambled, vegetables, cold cuts, cheeses, breads, cakes etc.The hotel enjoys an excellent location a block from Las Canteras beach and a short walk away from Santa Catalina park, with lots of shopping and dining opportunities close by. There is a Spar supermarket 100 meters from the hotel open every day, Sundays included.

  Lovely hotel, very central for the beach, restaurants and not far from the bus station. Nice rooms which were very clean. The staff were very helpful. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

  I’ve just returned from a great week at this lovely hotel. The rooms are very comfortable with free air con and safe and they have a small fridge.It is exceptionally clean, the staff are very friendly and it’s in a perfect location for the beach, bus station, bars, cafes, restaurants and shops.Breakfast is simple but adequate.The hotel has a sun terrace with sun-beds.You can hire sun-beds with parasols for £6 Euros per day at the beach nearby.Highly recommended.

  A modern spanish hotel and really great! Wonderful staff, comfortable beds in clean rooms. Great location, less than 150 meters to the beach and close to many great restaurants. We’ll be back!

  This winter, I stayed twice at the Doña Luisa, once with my father and once by myself. We had a great time!The hotel opened in 2017, and the facilities are well maintained so everything is in good condition. My room was clean, very nice, well lit and designed with fair colours.
