Location

The hotel is situated in the rural village of La Aldea de San Nicolás, one of the most beautiful and unspoilt parts of Gran Canaria. The hotel is nestled between four national parks: Roque Nublo, Tamadaba, Inagua and Güi-Güi. It is only five minutes away from beaches that have been maintained in their natural state. Restaurants, bars, nightlife, links to public transport and shopping opportunities can all be found in the immediate vicinity.

Facility

21 suites and 6 double rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Children can enjoy the playground. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Other services include medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service to explore the surrounding area. Complimentary newspapers are available. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms feature a living area and a bathroom, and a fan ensures just the right temperature. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. The rooms have a king-size bed and a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a mini fridge included among the standard features. A trouser press is provided for guests' convenience. A television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a vanity mirror are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has family rooms, 27 non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

Going for a swim at the pool complex, which includes indoor and outdoor areas, is a great way to relax. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hotel offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including cycling/mountain biking, crazy golf, golf and fishing. With water skiing, jet skiing, motorboat rides, paddle boating, banana boat rides, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports will have plenty to choose from. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, badminton and billiards. Various wellness options are available at the hotel, including a sauna, massage treatments, hydrotherapy treatments and a solarium. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room, a café, a bar and a pub. The non-smoking restaurant provides high chairs for children. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A continental breakfast buffet ensures a great start to the day. At lunch, guests order their favourite dishes à la carte. Diet meals and gluten-free meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available.

    Spacious clean rooms in well located hotel. Has toiletries and hairdryer. Pool and bar ( limited hours). Bed was not comfortable, hard and 'springy'. Nice breakfast with mediocre coffee.

    This hotel is a gem. Why it's only given three stars is beyond me. We've stayed in worst five starred places. Breakfast is fantastic, but more than this, it has a clean swimming pool, a jacuzzi and a play room. Our room was comfortable, with a good bed, settee, TV, and balcony. If you're in Gran Canaria, stay here.

    Hotel is located in a run down unattractive area of this not so interesting town. Hotel interior is outdated and boasts a mix of weird style elements that are all outdated. Building smells bad, hallways are dark. Rooms are ok, but unattractive and do not match the “suite” claim in the name. Elevator is brand new and fast. Staff is unprofessional but friendly. Breakfast is something else: an incredible spread of low quality items. Butter is offered in unhygienic disposable family sized containers. Interestelement: the staff linnen room also serves as a staff toilet! (See picture) Never came across this gross unhygienic situation anywhere else.I am happy for the hotel owners that other guests love this place. I definitely won’t recommend or stay again.

    Superb Hotel

    My second visit. This time for five nights as a cycling base on the west of the island.Rooms are superb with large balcony and would attract no complaint in a five star hotel. Breakfast is superb - again 5 star quality. Management and staff are most attentive and friendly. Lovely terrace area where you can take breakfast if you wish and pleasant swimming pool. Ping pong and pool table also.Would highly recommended and look forward to staying again.

    I stayed here recently for 3 nights. The room was a very good size, and quiet. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. There's a very wide range of options for breakfast. The hotel is in a good central location. I would happily stay here again.
