  Save yourself the money and go somewhere else as it is a lovely area. I could go on about how bad it was but will keep it short and sweet, If you are looking for rude staff, no relaxation, bland food and no value for money, this is the place for you. It looks good but there is no substance to it.I paid for the deluxe room with seaview, i was never made aware of the noise that comes with it. From kids club concert to 10:30pm it’s an ongoing concert. Kids club then turns to a very average bad. The music was as loud as a concert. Ye with the balcony door closed it sounded like you had a bad karaoke machine going on in your room.I look forward to the ChatGPT response as that what I got in email. This is meant to be a 5star hotel but is extremely average and not worth the money. There is much nicer and least expensive hotels in the area.Avoid, I wished I had read the terrible reviews in advance of my stay and saved myself the time and hassle of here.

  18 Years Later… It Still Feels Like Coming Home

  For us, returning to Lopesan Costa Meloneras is not simply going on holiday — it feels like coming home.We have been visiting this remarkable hotel for around 18 years now, often multiple times each year, and yet the feeling never changes. The sense of relaxation begins the very moment we arrive at the magnificent entrance to the hotel. Walking through those doors into reception, greeted by familiar smiling faces, instantly tells us we are back in our favourite place.The welcome is always exceptional — from the gentleman at the entrance who effortlessly whisks away the suitcases with warmth and efficiency, to the reception team who somehow manage to make every arrival feel personal and special. Even the wonderful signature Lopesan scent in the foyer immediately creates that unmistakable feeling that the holiday has truly begun.Of course, the hotel itself is spectacular. The pools are amongst the best we have experienced anywhere in the world, the grounds are immaculate, and the entire resort has a sense of calm elegance that makes it incredibly difficult to leave. But what truly makes Costa Meloneras extraordinary is not just the beautiful surroundings — it is the people.The staff are the heart and soul of this hotel, and many of them have become familiar faces to us over the years.A very special mention must go to Loly at Bar Arenal. She is an absolutely wonderful ambassador for the hotel — kind, professional, warm, endlessly hardworking, and always smiling no matter how busy things are. Her dedication is genuinely remarkable. Alongside Carmen from the Central Bar, they also care for the cats within the resort. We know not everybody understands this, but these cats are a valued and positive part of the hotel environment and help naturally keep the resort rodent-free. Seeing the kindness and care shown towards them says a great deal about the compassion and character of the staff here.We also want to mention Brian at the Laguna pool bar, who has become a true friend over the years. Every single day he welcomes guests with a smile, courtesy, humour and professionalism that never seems to fade. He is one of those people who genuinely enhances your holiday simply by being there.And finally Victor, whose impeccable professionalism, friendliness and ever-present smile always leave a lasting impression, no matter which area of the hotel he is working in during our stay.It is these people — and so many others throughout the hotel — who make Costa Meloneras as special as it is. Luxury hotels can be built anywhere, but creating an atmosphere like this, with staff who genuinely care and who make guests feel remembered and valued year after year, is something incredibly rare.That is why, after almost two decades, we continue to return time and time again.   Lovely location at the coast

  This hotel is in a lovely coastal location close to the seafront promenade and local shops, bars and restaurants, all within easy walking distance. The lovely historical La Playa Maspalomas lighthouse is a great focal point not far from the hotel. There is a nice peaceful atmosphere around this hotel and attractive fountains to the front and rear of the grounds. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped with televisions, tea and coffee making facilities , safes for storing valuables etc. There are deluxe rooms or alternatively suites which have living rooms. Some rooms have mini bars.For the disabled, there are available specially adapted rooms. I would say that this five star hotel represents good value for money. Throughout the hotel and the grounds the standard of cleanliness is very high, which hardly a bit of litter to be seen. We found the noise levels not bad at all. But in the peak Summer season, noise levels are higher owing to the much larger number of holiday makers staying there. The service is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful . There is a large variety of food on offer at the Almeda buffet restaurant, which caters for all tastes. We have enjoyed three stays at this lovely location over the years and we definitely hope to return for a fourth.   Hi to all the staff I spend a lovely week in your hotel with my family. I would recommend that you fit some sort of safety railing on the steps on the outside area as I witnessed a lady having a bad fall and two others nearly falling.
