This apartment complex is situated directly beside the Atlantic Ocean and enjoys unique sea views. It is situated between Anfi del Mar and Puerto Rico, away from the other hotel complexes, and therefore offers guests a rare peace and tranquility on the tourist island of Gran Canaria. Guests will also find the island's main sites and centres of interest close by. The nearest links to the public transport network are only a 2-minute walk from the complex and there are shops, bars and nightspots just 2 km away in Puerto Rico. It is just 3 km to the centre of Arguineguin and Gran Canaria Airport is just 50 km away.

Facility

Units include 273 apartments located in a 10-storey main building and a 2-storey auxiliary building. This apartment hotel has a lift and a 24-hour reception desk. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Rooms

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. There is a poolside snack bar as well. A variety of activities such as cycling/mountain biking, golf and fishing or, for a fee, tennis, are offered at the apartment hotel. Water sports enthusiasts are offered diving. Sports options available to guests include a gym or, for a fee, billiards. A wellness area with a sauna is available at the hotel. Activity coordinators organise an entertainment programme for adults and children.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. The non-smoking restaurant provides high chairs for children. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board, full board and all-inclusive. All-inclusive holidaymakers enjoy special extras like snacks, in addition to a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Breakfast gives guests plenty of delicious reasons to get out of bed in the morning. Lunch (a set menu) and dinner (à la carte) offer plenty of variety.     Stayed here in May and had a really enjoyable stay. The views are absolutely stunning and were easily the highlight of the hotel – waking up to the sea every morning was fantastic.The hotel is definitely more “cheap and cheerful” than luxury, but it offers good value for money. The apartments were clean, the pools were nice, and the staff were friendly throughout our stay.I’ve seen quite a few complaints about the incline leading up to the hotel, but honestly, unless you have mobility issues or are extremely unfit, it’s really not a problem. It’s a short uphill walk and certainly wouldn’t put me off staying here again.Overall, if you’re looking for great views, decent facilities, and good value for money rather than five-star luxury, Marina Elite is well worth considering.

    Title: Mixed feelings at Marina Elite – Great food, but accessibility and service gaps.We arrived from the UK on a late flight (23:00). Since the dining facilities were closed, the hotel provided a packed lunch (ham and cheese sandwich and a small cake), which was a thoughtful touch before we headed to the bar for the final hour of All-Inclusive service.​Important Note on Accessibility:If you have mobility issues, please be aware that the hotel has a significant number of steps. While there are lifts, they only bypass some of the stairs, not all of them.​Dining & Location:​Food: There was a great variety at every meal, though it’s subjective and might not suit everyone's palate.​Area: The hotel is located between Puerto Rico and Anfi. We spent 7–8 Euros on a 5-minute taxi into Puerto Rico most days for the nightlife.​Anfi: Even with a bus or taxi, it’s still quite a trek to get there.​Service:While the cleaning, bar, and restaurant staff were incredibly pleasant, our experience ended on a sour note. Reception was welcoming upon arrival, but very dismissive on our final day. We were denied a late checkout room, yet it appeared that local Spanish guests were being given priority for these requests. For this reason, we wouldn't choose to stay here again.

    Really lovely hotel , staff were amazing , helpful and friendly. The cleaners were also really great , cleanliness of our rooms were really good . The best receptionist ( jalila) she was so kind and really made our stay extra special. Pools are really good.     Had a wonderful holiday at marina elite, rooms kept spotless everyday, whole site maintained by personal sweeping, cleaning glass walkways, Esther kept the restaurant running smoothly as was very busy at times ,very efficient. Food hot and always restocked, the lamb roast was perfect. Juan in the beach bar was so kind and happy ,he even knew what we was drinking and had it ready for us as we walked into bar . Made holiday very special as staff so friendly.     Severe sickness from this hotel AVOID

    We were there in April 2026, Disgusting “restaurant” - absolutely full of flies, there were flies on almost everything, including the food, tables, even people sat eating were covered. I left with severe sickness, which started the day we left and lasted 6 days. I do not like to complain, however there is a serious issue at this hotel which needs addressing and I would hate for people to book this and also become unwell. I won’t even go into the building work on the lift that is going on, 8am wake up call from a digger and cherry picker Monday to Friday, completely ruined our holiday.
