This comfortable beach hotel is located in the leisure district of Puerto Rico, right by the impressive marina and just a few minutes' walk (approximately 300 m) from the inviting sandy beach and turquoise-blue waters. Plenty of shopping venues, scores of restaurants, bars and other entertainment venues are to be found in the vicinity. Links to the public transport network are 400 m from the hotel and Parque Rural del Nublo is around a 50-minute drive away.

Facility

216 rooms are located on 9 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Guests receive a welcome drink upon arrival. Guests can store valuables in the safe. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for a fee. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a DVD hire service, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service and a laundry service. Rooms

Rooms feature a living area, a kitchen and a bathroom, and air conditioning ensures just the right temperature. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds or children's beds can be provided upon request. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. The kitchenette comes with a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are available for daily use. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The freshwater pool complex includes heated outdoor pools and a children's area. Guests can treat themselves to refreshing drinks at the poolside snack bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. With aquafit or, for a fee, windsurfing, kitesurfing, jet skiing, motorboat rides, sailing, kayaking, snorkelling and diving available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. The apartment hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, yoga, callisthenics, aerobics and pilates or, for a fee, bowling. Guests of the hotel can pamper themselves with spa treatments and facilities in the wellness area. Services include a beauty salon and a solarium or, for a fee, massage treatments. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Meals

Dining facilities include a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. The non-smoking restaurant provides high chairs for children. Bed and breakfast is offered as a catering option. A generous breakfast buffet and a lunch à la carte are served every day. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes, children's meals and organic food can be prepared on request. In addition, picnics and snacks are available. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Review deleted submitted again-Wonderful hotel.Excellent pool facilities.Excellent staff.Excellent location Would return! Only problem allowing a man to remain in a family hotel who exposed his genitalia to one guest and staring at other young females around the pool. His wife just as concerning exhibiting aggressive behaviour. Should not have been allowed to stay in a family hotel!

    Fantastic apartments, brilliant holiday at Marina Suites

    Fantastic apartments, spacious, clean and comfortable. The whole complex has a nautical theme right down to decorations and furniture, and staff uniform. Breakfast was included with our select apartment, and there was a huge selection of hot and cold food, pastries etc which set us up for the day. The pool area was lovely, lots of sunbeds and umbrellas. Also an adults only area with hottubs and balinese beds. The location in Puerto Rico is right by the marina, with a short walk in either direction to the supermarket, bars and restaurants. The beach is very close, and we found the sea to be calm and not chilly, probably due to the sheltered bay. About 15 minutes walk is the bus station where buses run to local attractions and other resorts. We visited Maspolomas and Aqualand using the local service buses which ran on time and were cheap. We also got the ferry from the marina to Puerto el Morgan which is well worth a visit. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. I would not hesitate to recommend Marina Suites and hopefully will return soon.     Family and friends came to stay for our ann

    We stayed in the room we had last year so thank you we took a rate point off because of the noise from lads next door but it was dealt with we had a lovely 2 weeks staff brilliant thank you all bq was lovely on the Monday. Such a lovely place food at breakfast penty of choose afternoon snacks lovely cleaning ladies thank you for the way you kept our room lovely everyday credit to you all .     Very nice apartment. Modern and well equipped. Good hanging space for clothes. Great sea view. Lovely infinity pool. Plenty of sunbeds when we went, but annoying that people were reserving them and not using them. There's a separate adults only area with two hot tubs. Excellent choice for breakfast and the food was always hot. It was very well organised with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good location near to the beach and various bars and restaurants including the Las Olas Centre, although about a 20 min walk into the main Centre. I always like to do a clothes wash half way through our holiday, and there is a self service laundrette (not run by the hotel) just outside.     Definitely recommend a visit

    We stayed as 5 adults for 10 days in May. Very friendly staff on arrival and throughout the stay. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.The rooms were very modern and cleaned daily. The rooms and hotel in general were very clean. The rooms were large, with a living room and separate bedrooms. Plenty of storage, hangers, iron, ironing board. Good wifi signal. All the cooking utensils required. We stayed on the second floor with a lovely view of the harbour. From the layout of the building your view would be the harbour or the sea, whichever room you get. The shower is nice and powerful with plenty of pressure.The location of the hotel is ideal, pool side you have amazing views. Its on the harbour where all the boat trips leave from. Shops and bars within a few minutes walk. Beach within 5 minutes walk. Bus station with 15 minutes walk and the shopping centre within around 20 minutes walk. If you want a taxi then ask at reception and one will be ordered. The pool was very refreshing on the hot days, which was every day. Never struggled to get a sun bed and we only went for the beds around 9am. The sun beds are not the comfiest ive ever had, but more than manageable.The food. We only stayed B&B and ate out everyday for lunch and dinner. The hotel does a lunch menu, but we never tried it. Breakfast offers plenty of choice. You can eat inside or outside, which I liked. The breakfast is a minute of continental and a hotel English style breakfast. They also make fresh omelettes. I enjoyed it, the only minor critique is that the hot buffet doesn't stay hot for long. You had to time it right so your food isn't too cold. I failed to achieve this most days.Access around the hotel is easy with lifts to all floors and its flat. Ideal if you struggle to walk.Entertainment. The hotel has a bar and restaurant. Again we didnt use it. We did use the pool bar, you dont have to worry about having cash or cards with you around the pool as you can get drinks and food charged to your room. Through the week their is the odd game, like darts, axe throwing, archery etc. They is an area outside to play mini golf, table tennis and french balls. Its well maintained and the bats, clubs and balls are all there. No messing with collecting from somewhere or leaving deposits. Its all free. The gym isn't amazing and quite small, but its better than nothing. Their is a exercise area outside where the table tennis is. Its not bad and you can always go for a run down the lovely coastal path, which leads to another beach. The coastal path is around 2-3 minutes run away from the hotel. Ultimately, I think its quite well balanced and caters a bit for everybody. I will look to stay again.
