Location

The hotel enjoys a superb location in Las Palmas, the capital of Gran Canaria, just 20 m from Las Canteras Beach and 10 minutes from one of the largest shopping centres in the city. There is a bus stop just a few metres from the hotel with regular lines and the tourist bus Las Palmas Guagua. The bus provides a useful tour around the city, pointing out the various highlights along the way. The Alfredo Kraus Auditorium convention centre is located less than 5 km away.

Facility

The hotel has 10 single rooms and 57 double rooms, which are located on 7 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day.     Hotel very close to the beach and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. The rooms are decent and clean. I didn't take the breakfast because it costs 18 euro and it's in another hotel.     NH advertises on-line check-in: you can choose the floor, room etc. But when I did the online check-in there was only one room available, the one that the hotel had already assigned to me. No possibility to choose. I find it hard to believe that it was the only check-out and vacant room on that day.If you are a light sleeper the rooms facing the street are not for you. Single-glass windows let all noise through into the room. People talking loud below on the street late at night, traffic noise from nearby streets start early in the morning.     We booked a twin room with terrace to be told there were none when we arrived. Had to move to an inside room with opaque windows onto the internal shaft. No restaurant, no bar. Only positive was the beds are comfy. In dire need of an upgrade. Way to expensive for the standard.
