    Below there is a comment from guy 'J M ' Hotel has aircondition but as You can see on their website it will be turned on from June. You are idiot if You buy hotel without reading rules. Front desk people are very nice. most of Your comments are bad. If You dont like holidays , maybe its time to stay home ? probably You are single, and You will be , also You dont have friends so why You stated that You travel with friends .

    Myself and my partner, daughter and niece stayed for 10 days back in June 2025. The hotel was MORE than i expected it was amazing. The pools are heated there are two hot-tubs a great baby pool. The life guards at the slide were so lovely my daughter wasn't a confident swimmer and he let her use a small ring float to go down. When she fell and hurt her knee he was so kind too her she got to sit on the life guards chair! the food was delicious breakfast and dinner we were half board and on occasion if nothing for my kids to eat they brought them out nuggets and chips for free which was very kind. The supermarket across the road was super handy especially for lunch etc just to make sandwiches and bring too the pool. The room is slightly dated but it was spotless large sitting room/ kitchen bathroom with double sink and a huge bedroom. The balcony was also stunning with a table and even sun-loungers. What was the highlight for me of how kind the staff was, my daughter forgot her iPad in the luggage room and we didn't realize until we got to the airport and when i rang the hotel they had it straight too us via taxi. It made my daughters day to get it back. Overall i would recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of booking yes it is a little bit out but taxis are cheap and the pools and surrounding areas are so beautiful you wont want to leave. Every hotel we have looked at since we compare to this hotel. We cannot wait to return!!

    Had a fantastic week with the family - two teens. Beautiful hotel with great pools and complex, lovely room and balcony and really great food. Staff were friendly and helpful and the couple of times we saw the evening entertainment it was good. Handy having Aldi across the road and the shuttle bus to the beach. Just a great feel and would definitely return. Couldn’t fault it at all.

    Stunning pool area with beautiful gardens

    Immaculate complex. We love it!! The staff work hard to deliver exceedingly high standards. With absolute stunning gardens set around 2 fabulous pools. Truely breath taking set up at Sonneland. The apartments are spacious..amazingly comfy beds , large bathrooms and great balconies with lounge furniture. The restaurant is good value for money offering half board with a wide range of Spanish/European food, delicious salads, soup, meats and desserts. Great for families too. Children and teenagers have a great pool, well equipped games room with table tennis, air hockey and grabber machines. The under ground parking is a great bonus too.

    Beautiful Hotel but Hotel Food always COLD

    20th March 2026 day we left.Literally 20 minutes from the Airport.Check in was fine. Room had to change but again looking over the busy main road so you heard traffic constantly.This was not for me.Room itself very spacious more like a suite. Safe inside room was free. Plus they provide beach towels for you which was a nice touch. Aldi across the road & a supermarket on complex.Pools were amazing! Beautifully kept gardens & a nice pool bar which was very reasonable.€3.50 a beer & €5/€8 cheese burger & chips.Hotel staff were all very nice.The hotel food was very nice & I am a fussy eater but was always COLD.Why they don't provide a microwave is beyond me ? I had to keep asking staff to take mine in the kitchen to put in their microwave. That got me down in the end so I would not get the food next time.Location of the hotel is not the best.40 minutes to walk into Maspalomas & 1 hour to walk into Playa Del Ingles.Beach again 40 minutes.Not many shops by the hotel either & only a few eateries.You are out on a limb.We enjoyed it & loved Maspalomas but would stay nearer the town next time.
