Location

    TWO STARS VS. FIVE STARS

    Hotel pujol is a two stars hotel for a reason. Small bathtub instead of shower cubicle. No kitchnette, coffee machine or water boiler in room. Nevertheless we loved the hotel. Location is excellent, surrounded by restaurants, street food and cafes. Bus stops and bus station nearby, with good connections. Location is nearby Las Canteras mid section. We had upper floor room with a balcony over the corner. We drank our morning coffee outside. Yes, we had small coffee maker with us. Balcony is really a big bonus and I recommend to choose a room with a balcony. There is a modest sun deck on the rooftop. We asked keycard from reception and there was no extra charge. Staff was super friendly and cleaning was done every day. Allthough this is a two stars hotel, it was one of our most pleasant experiences. We loved Las Palmas and this hotel.

    Location, location, and good value and friendly staff makes this hotel. Stayed here this year and last, and the location is great. In the morning I walk about 30 secs from the hotel straight onto the beach for a morning jog and then have a lovely coffee and croissant, at the Granier cafe which is also close by. It totally makes my morning. It is a 10 min walk from the bus station, which is good for cheaply getting from the airport, and for buses travelling to all sorts of places . It's very close to a range of shops and the centre of the new town. The decor on the hotel is typical of many Spanish and Portuguese hotels, and I think it is fine. I found the bed comfortable and the room very clean. I like it's postion near the calmer sunnier part of the beach, the sun seems to longer longer this end. For the location it could be much more expensive, but it does have some noise issues, which make the competitive prices seem a fair compromise. The cafe is typical of eateries for the locals, and other Spanish locationsbwhere locals eat, not a beach front restaurant, and with a menu 3 course meal and drnk for under 11 euros, I can't complain. I tried it twice and it was fine. If u want good value in a great location this would be a good option.

    Perfect location Just few steps from lascanteras beach , proactive and supportive staff, room was clean and functional. Bar with friendly atmosphere and tasty breakfast offer.I stayed there 2 times for a total of 2 weeks , I will come back for sure ! Very canary’s feelings in the hotel , because managed by family . 🤗

    Spent ten days here in November 2022. Good size room overlooking the street with small balcony. A bit noisy with traffic but not too bad. Free safe.Good size bathroom.Did not eat in restaurant as big choice of restaurants within a 100 paces of hotel.Beach with lots of restaurants within 200 yards.Very clean throughout and staff friendly.Very central to old town, everywhere within walking distance and all on the flat.Wifi good.Would recommend, will return.

    The first and foremost aspect for this hotel is the location, city centre and 70 yards to the Las Canteras beach, as well as close to the new Las Palmas city centre. This being during the pandemic, less lively in the hotel, but it is possible to have your breakfast in the hotel, and also read local papers. Otherwise, hotel quiet, even on a Saturday night. Rooms are taken care of every day, and towels supplied when needed. Our beds were good too!
