Location

Ideal for beach holidaymakers, this hotel is located in Playa del Cura and is just a few steps from the beach. It is about 4 km to the centre. There are a number of shops nearby.

Facility

The hotel has a lifts and features 94 rooms, including 50 junior suites and 19 suites. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A safe, a car hire service and a smoke alarm are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Services include a hotel shuttle bus.

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Many units feature a sea view, which creates a particularly lovely ambience. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests.     Not perfect but I would go back - just for the seaview!

    I had a great time at this hotel. The seaview suites have stunning views of the ocean and the staff are friendly and helpful. As a winter sun option 4hrs from the UK I would definitely recommend going here. I noted some comments previously about the hotel being dirty, I did not experience this at all.So in summary the positives:Wonderful sweeping sea viewsThe bridge/lift direct to the beach (dark sand and often waves)The breakfasts - good selection and plenty of room, nice coffee and fruit drinksStaff- friendly and helpful, we had one minor electrical issue in the room that was fixed almost immediately.Pool - clean clear water and never really busy, just enough sunloungers. Snack bar with drinks next to pool.Easy access to restaurants and a very well stocked Spar, just down the road.Loads to do in the area - boat trips/ canyons/ pine forests, mountains/ wildlife. With a car there is so much you can see and do.The not so positives:The health and safety angle - there was damaged and in my view potentially dangerous erosion of the decking style wooden planks around the property and the pool. I did mention this to a staff member for the worst section and no action was taken (this was by the pool in a section not cordoned off). For people with disabilities it is manageable with care but it really needs fixing.For people with a lot of luggage - there should be one trolley that would fit in the lift to take suitcases etc, we had to do multiple trips.Parking is pot luck - quite a busy car park outside so you might have to park down the road.The evening buffet was poor and expensive. I only went once during our whole stay. This seemed odd as the breakfast is good. If it was better we would have eaten there for sure.

    Room stunk, bed was old with very tired sheets. Shower desperately needs a deep clean . Found hair in our food .I would avoid

    We arrived late afternoon and we went to our room which smelt terrible of stagnant water/ sewer. We complained and after a tussle we were given another room. The beds in this were hard with tired sheets and ripped bedding. The food was ok but the fruit was served in bad condition, none of the food was labelled also did not seem to devise on allergies etc ie Gluten free. Hair was found in the food on. Couple of occasions.The staff in the dining/bar area were lovely and so helpful a real delight. The area was quiet but it was lovely with a good bus services in both directions, so not a problem. The hotel was very quiet and the bar shuts at 10pm which I think is fair. The pool area was very tired with broken decking. Overall the hotel is very tired not very clean with some reception staff not very friendly but the dining staff are lovely. Would not recommend

    Some good features; good facilities especially the rooms and pool area. Lovely massage in the spa. Good access to the beach. Very peaceful location. However food was very very poor, except in the pool bar but restricted opening hours there. Whilst the reception area is smart the rest of the hotel is tired with uneven boards around the pool, characterless corridors and basic bathrooms.

    Just got back from a lovely 10 day holiday. From start to finish the hotel and staff were great. The room I was in was clean and well furnished. The views are worth worth the price alone. The pool is black tile which keeps it at a lovely temperature. Parking at the front of the hotel is quite busy but there are alway spaces available at the bottom of the Hill. My wife and daughter both used the spa which I am told was amazing they both smelled of chocolate after. I will definitely book again.
