  Excellent all throughout our holiday.

  We recently spent a wonderful week at Seaside Sandy Beach in Gran Canaria during May 2026, and it was hands-down one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the pristine condition of the entire property and the incredibly warm welcome from the staff.The hotel is impeccably clean – honestly some of the cleanest we've seen anywhere. Our room was spotless every single day, with fresh towels, perfectly made beds, and not a speck of dust in sight. The public areas, pools, and beach access were all maintained to the highest standard. You could tell that cleanliness is a real priority here, and it made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable.The food was another highlight – absolutely fantastic! The buffet offered an incredible variety of fresh, high-quality dishes every day. The breakfast spread was generous with everything from fresh fruit and pastries to made-to-order eggs and local Canarian specialties. Dinner was even better, with beautifully prepared seafood, grilled meats, delicious salads, and wonderful international options. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the dessert section was dangerously good! We never got tired of the food – in fact, we looked forward to every meal.What truly set this hotel apart was the excellent service from every single member of staff. Whether it was the friendly reception team, the attentive waiters in the restaurant, the helpful housekeeping staff, or the poolside team, everyone was genuinely kind, professional, and eager to make our stay perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their positive attitudes made us feel truly valued as guests.The location right by the beach is perfect, and May proved to be an ideal time to visit – beautiful weather with warm days but not overwhelmingly hot. We couldn't have asked for more from our holiday.We would highly recommend Seaside Sandy Beach to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality beach holiday in Gran Canaria. We'll definitely be back!   I had such an awful time while staying at the prison like Bull Eugenie Victoria in May 2025 that I seriously considered never returning to Maspolomas. I had stayed at the Seaside Sandy Beach some years ago so decided to come back. I'm glad I did. This hotel is faultless when it comes to being looked after. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and I mean ALL staff from reception to waiters to cleaners. It was absolutely an amazing stress free experience and I can't thank the management and staff enough. I will be recommending this hotel to all my friends and will also return here myself. I was sad to leave which is the opposite to last year's experience. The only thing I would say is the rooms are maybe a little bit tired but that really didn't impact on the holiday one bit. They were clean and well attended and that's really the most important thing. I was half board and food was generally very good.   Arrived at 10.30pm check in was quick and allocated room 806 which was perfect as I had requested a room on floor 7or 8 at that side of the hotel. I had also requested an ironing board and iron in the room and it was there on arrival. We missed dinner due to arrival time but sandwiches and fruit was left in the room for us with coffee milk and sugar as requested. Everything I asked for, thank you.The room was spotless as always and bed very comfortable.The buffet restaurant was lovely all food cooked perfectly, we were all inclusive.Pool area gorgeous, very clean and tidy, lots of sunbeds available at any time of the day. Pool towels supplied.Staff are very welcoming and work hard to make everyone’s holiday enjoyable. It’s also lovely to see the interaction between staff, they all get on with each other and laugh together while working and I love how some sing as they work, such a lovely happy place and some staff have been there for a long time, Fatima who always remembers us, Snr Sanatana, Letitia and a few others whose names I can’t remember.This hotel is near to everything and reception staff are very knowledgeable and will help with any questions regarding the area/island.Highly recommend this hotel.   The Sandy Beach is one of the more attractive buildings in the area with the pool nestled in the centre. Just 5 min walk to the beach and bars or 10 mins to the Yumbo centre where you can pick up local busses. Great welcome at check in and the room was fine. There is good entertainment every evening although the hotel guests at this time of the year were mainly older couples, so dont expect all night clubbing. If you are not on all-inc, the bar prices are similar to those outside. The buffet varied each night with a national theme and pre cooked dishes but there was always fresh seafood and an excellent meat selection for the cook to throw on the grill. Salads, cheese and puds were fresh and very attractive. The staff were unfailingly cheerful and always seemed to be keeping the place clean and tidy. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would return.
