    No peace at all

    rating13 Apr 2026

It’s really a shame that there isn’t an area by the deep pool reserved just for adults without children, or a section in the restaurant dedicated to adults only. It’s practically impossible to find even a small space where adults can enjoy a moment of peace. In my view, this feels like a family-only hotel rather than a place suited for adults without children.I do wish I had known this in advance. The staff are friendly and pleasant, and the hotel itself is nice, but the level of noise from children and parents can be overwhelming.

Waste of time. Left really angry.

    rating19 Mar 2026

I only called a to have a leg and foot massage. Total waste of time. I explained from the start my legs were fine but I really wanted a foot massage. She literally rubbed oil into my feet for a minute. Went back to my legs. After a while I repeated I'd come for a foot massage essentially. She said it was foot and leg. I said, but you haven't done my feet and that's what I asked for. So she massaged my right foot for a couple of minutes (my left is the worst). Then said she was finished. I protested so she did a couple of minutes on my left. She did nothing my husband couldn't have done with some oil.To add insult to injury, I left my credit card in my car, which you had to park a couple of hundred metres up a steep hill. It was pouring and the spa is a fairly long outside walk from the main hotel. She said I couldn't pay at reception. So I trudged out in the rain and back, all the way to the spa and it was shut. So back through the rain to reception where they said they took take payment. I just left extremely angry. So much for a relaxing time. Finally it was lunchtime and I had to walk through the restaurant. The food looked absolutely terrible. If you stay here do not bother with the spa. A nice hotel but the elevators are a disaster

    rating30 Dec 2025

A nice, clean hotel that basically has only Nordic guests. Buffet food is ok, but the house wines included in the buffet (and all inclusive) are very cheap. Other wines are listed on the bar menu for extra price, but they don't necessarily exist: for example the only sparkling wine they had was Don Luciano. But the most annoying thing are the elevators that turn the hotel into a prison for anyone travelling with a wheelchair or small children. The "smart" system where you order the elevator to a specific destination turns into a disaster when 1/4 elevators is broken and the others stop on every floor even when there's nobody there (because the people didnt fit into the elevator the system thought). Perdomo Lopez Francisco, Other at Sunwing Arguineguin Seafront, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are pleased to hear that you found the hotel nice and clean, and we appreciate your positive remarks. At the same time, we are truly sorry for the aspects of your stay that did not meet expectations. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the elevators. We fully understand how frustrating this must have been, especially for guests travelling with a wheelchair or small children. The smart elevator system is designed to improve flow, but when one of the elevators is out of service, it can unfortunately have the opposite effect. Our maintenance team is already addressing this issue with priority, and we are taking additional steps to ensure that the system functions more reliably at all times.Regarding the buffet wines, we regret that the selection did not meet your expectations and that some beverages listed on the bar menu were not available. Your comment is very valuable, and we are reviewing our stock management and communication to ensure we can provide better consistency between what is advertised and what is offered. We sincerely appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we can improve. Our goal is always to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all our guests, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future so we can offer a much smoother and fully satisfying experience.Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts with us.Sunwing Arguineguin team.

Very disappointing stay – not worth the money

    rating06 Sept 2025

We came here for a long-awaited family holiday and had high expectations based on the reviews, but I honestly cannot understand how this hotel has received such good feedback. The only positive aspect has been the staff in the restaurant, who are friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, everything else has been far below standard. The cleanliness is poor and our room (536) is old and worn down. The real nightmare has been the noise. It feels like someone is playing football in the room above us. We complained several times, but the hotel did nothing to solve the problem. No one from the reception ever contacted us, we were not offered another room, and there was no attempt to provide any form of compensation. The hallways are extremely noisy and the hotel in general has very thin walls. Sleeping was nearly impossible due to the constant disturbance from the room above. On top of that, the elevator system is terrible, slow and frustrating to use. This hotel has completely failed to deliver the relaxing family holiday we were hoping for. I would definitely not recommend it. Perdomo Lopez Francisco, Otros at Sunwing Arguineguin Seafront, responded to this review Dear Adina , we are so sorry for you bad experience with us. Your comments help us to improve. Sunwing Arguineguin team.
