  Cheap - Thats's it

  We stayed here in February. It was not what we expected. We had booked 2 2 bedroom bungalows for 2 familys. On arrival were told bungalows were not together but on different rows. Not too much of a big deal as we should have checked first.One bungalow had a lot of ants on arrival and when we said to reception they replied- there is nothing we can do about it- it is the area and if we clean they will just come back tomorrow- Really bad attitude to have.. Have to pay for remote control, wifi etc,The rooms were basic - don't expect any luxury- uncomfortable beds all in different states, one would be good and the other legs creaked. Kitchen living room small but had kettle, fridge tv, the usual. The bare necessities- small but if you plan on self catering a squeeze to say the least. There was smell of sewers too but I think that was because where the bungalows are situated. We went out to eat except for the odd sandwich.A nice seating area outside every bungalow, and when the weather is good you can't complain about this.As it was February it wasn't too hot- but did not see airconditioning- for the warmer months ( could be wrong but don't think so)The pool was nice and quiet, with 4 kids- they loved the pool. Just a pool, don't expect music, a bar or a shop.We hired mini bus thing for the week as we knew before we wanted to see around the island. Thank God we did. We paid something like 10€ for the parking for the week which wasn't bad. The bungalows are not as near as we usually are to things. There is a shop up the hill to the right about 10 minutes walk. Also a really good cheap restaurant before the shop. We walked into the town one night- took about 30 minutes to be fair, it was a nice walk but I would not be doing this every day- as I said I prefer to be nearer the life and shops.All in all we got what we paid for- it was the cheapest option at the time for 2 familys together. But would never stay again. They don't do service or cleaning. There is no maintenance and it seems like they have just given up. Next time will save money we spent on car and stay in Peurto Rico.

  Our smart phone disappeared from the closed apartment last day! We left the key at the reception when we go out and when we arrived back to apartment the phone was stolen. Somebody looked at into the wallet as well(cash was not in fortunately!). The closed door and window was intact. Only the staff has key. They know that if you are foreigner and you want to take police report in case of problem at the weekend in your last day you cannot do it, because you cannot sing the report in the following workday! But they cannot be calm because I took report other way!There is no breakfast in the hotel. We need to pay for any features: parking, TV, WiFi, transfer, etc... So the "Best price" will be the worst price at the end! They are not responsible for anything if you have a problem! There is no air condition! Everything is far from here! The WiFi is terribly slow! The condition of apartment is poor!

  Staff friendly.and far removed from the hustle of Playa del Ingles. free bus to the beach no longer available. local bus and taxi is cheap.restaurant 5 mins away and lovely take away options. Spar nearby. interiors could do with a make over. Grubby chair covers, rusty scaling bath, dirty shower curtain, leaking fridge. ,! Comfortable beds, pristine linen.

  I wouldn't stay here if I was you, such a joke! No restaurant , no bar no shop😱 kicked us out at 11 clock when our flight is at 8 at night, not helpful at all& tried to charge us am extra €200 at the start and when asked why nothing was said (trying to chance there arm) we normally don't care where we stay what it looks like but my god this place it's a dump, they didn't care about us at all once they got there money , pool was filthy dirty with stones at the end of the pool, tv did not work and neither did plug sockets , only one socket , please avoid this, I wouldn't recommend this to any one it's a DUMP! Sara the manger does not show here face around the pool area, if you are not Spanish they don't care, no respect towards anyone but there own!!!!!

  Not so great this time.

  Originally reviewed these apartments in 2014 on my first visit and gave it excellent, unfortunately this was not the situation on this visit. The apartments really needed a good deep clean. Superficially the cleaning was good and the bathroom was spotless, however, the skirting boards, under the sofa, beds and in particular under the fridge was really dirty. The sofa bed in the lounge was made of old decaying foam and the cover was less than clean. Outside every apartment was littered with cigarette ends by the doors. Several of the sockets and switches were loose from the wall. The door lock was ill fitting and not very secure. Also, the first full day I was there, I came back from lunch, opened the door and thought that the maid had tidied up and moved everything. It took me a minute to realise that I was in the wrong apartment and my key had worked! Thankfully, it was unoccupied! On the plus side, check in was easy and the staff were helpful enough, they called taxis for us etc. The pool area and gardens are well kept. It looked like they had new sun loungers since last time. Overall, these apartments really need refurbishment, but they are really cheap too!
