    Fabulous stay with homemade treats!

    I don’t know if this property was recently redone or new, but it is a beautiful Hampton Inn. As a lifetime diamond we have seen lots of them but this was special. If ever in Dubois, pick this place! The staff are all incredibly nice too! We checked in late the the staff greeted us so warmly!

    Far below usual Hampton Inn standards

    This is an older property which has not been updated or maintained adequately. Many Hampton Inns seem to be updated every 2-3 years, but his one appeared to be all original from 15-20 years ago.Wall coverings are shabby looking, with some peeling wall paper, and badly scuffed along the walls where housekeeping carts hit them.Our bathroom was missing stoppers in both the tub and sink drains. It had peeling wallpaper, a very sloppy paint job to the ceiling, and tube and toilet had caulking smeared around over an inch from the joints.First floor ice machine was broken. Breakfast area was not kept clean.Staff were all friendly and polite, but clearly management does not take a critical look at the property.It is located adjacent to a shopping mall that is mostly vacant, and did not seem like a real secure location.Avoid this one.

    A Good Hampton

    This is a typical Hampton and that is good. The room was good and the only improvements could have been in fixing some bruises, that always occur because people visit. The room was comfortable and filled the bill. The bathroom had the great innovative thing of having bottles in the shower. The hotel has a nice fitness room and I think it has a pool as well. I saw at least one conference room. The only issue I had was with the weather as freezing rain and snow came overnight. I would stay there again.

    Stayed one night on a business trip recently while passing through. Area has plenty of food options and lots of shopping areas. Seemed like a very safe area. Hotel was well lit and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself was very outdated and needed a refurb in the worst way. The tub in my room was cracked and most of the property was very aged. Rooms could’ve been cleaner, however could’ve been much worse. Probably will pass on this hotel next time.     deceptive website- there is not hot tub

    check in was easy and quick as I had used the app. I was given the room I had requested. This hotel seemed to have a bit of age. The room was average sized and appeared clean.the bed was clean and comfortable.The fridge, microwave, and most importantly the TV worked fine. However, there were very few usable outlets for charging items near the bed. The room walls seemed to be somewhat thin in that I could hear people in the next room.the wifi seemed OK.The bathroom was OK sized, but the drain in the tub was very slow and I ended up standing in a few inches of water during my shower. There was no fan in the bathroom. There were plenty of towels.as in a lot of hotels now the business center is just a printer. the computer itself was broken and I was told it had been for some time. The hotel had an OK gym, but no free weights. They had a pool, but the hot tub was broken. It appeared as if it had been out of service for some time which made me upset because the hotel website shows it is open. perhaps a note could be placed that it is broken so I wouldn't be expecting a nice soak after hiking and driving all day. Upon further research it turns out it has been broken for YEARS! Take that amenity off the website if you are not going to provide it.breakfast was typical Hampton Inn- waffles, yogurt, eggs.
