    Booked one night here on our way home. Wish we hadn’t. Room was not very clean and very tired. Tiny TV and poor bedding. Claims itself as a four star but not sure how. Is adjacent to a large cafe frequented by drivers. A large hotel that has seen better days.

    Whilst initially pleased to find a 4 star hotel on the Autovia which meant trips to Guadix and Granada were possible, I was rather disappointed with the overall experience and the overall rating can be no better than average. From outside place looks fine but things are somewhat dated Inside and they would benefit from a refurb of the bedrooms. Public areas are fine. Restaurant and cafeteria available were standards are high. Food was lovely and with a large selection of hot and cold dishes available. Rooms are over priced for what you get.

    Excellent Stopover to Sevilla

    Prensa and the other people on reception were exceptionally helpful. The whole place is like a huge 5* hotel when you walk in, yet it is situated just off the A92 between junctions 292 and 293. Excellent stop off for our journey from Torrevieja to Sevilla. We had a choice of places to eat - the cafeteria, and the restaurant. I cannot rate the restaurant since we did not eat there, but the food, choice and service in the cafeteria was second to none. My husband had the double burger with fries, I had the butterfly chicken breast with fries - that plus a caña and a diet Coke came to less than 10€. Unbelievable! There are meal deals though - a basic 3 course is 12€. The bedroom was lovely. A great size, and for once with a comfy chair to sit in. All channels on the TV were in Spanish (of course!), but the wifi was good enough to channel Netflix with on my laptop. I slept like a log, so the bed etc must have been comfortable - hard to say really. Easy parking and a petrol station on site made for a great stay. We paid for the breakfast in advance at 7€ each, but would have been better to just go in the cafeteria the next day and order the food as usual. You just are never sure what to do, but next time we visit - that's what we'll do.

    The front desk clerk and the operator that we spoke on the phone to when we made the reservation were very helpful, polite and friendly. We arrived late but our room was ready with our requests. We were able to have our dog stay with us. The room was very clean and it was quiet, therefore good for resting.

    Avoid this hotel if you are asthmatic or allergic to the smell of stale tobacco smoke

    We belatedly read a review which suggested that their non-smoking room smelled of stale smoke which had become ingrained in the bedding. This was very worrying because my wife is asthmatic and has an allergy to tobacco for which she needs regular hospital appointments. We phoned the hotel beforehand and they promised to provide the best possible room to avoid problems with the smoke. We saw the room upon arrival and it seemed free from stale smoke. Unfortunately, when we tried to sleep, the stale tobacco odour was unmistakable and unavoidable. It would seem the hotel doesn't have any rooms free of this stench.However, the staff helpfulness and friendliness, the hotel decor, the room size, the restaurant and the cafeteria were all excellent.
