Location

This hotel is located in Santa Fe, a historic town founded in 1491 by the Catholic Monarchs, where once stood the military camp, from which the Nazari kingdom of Granada was besieged. This is also the place where the last Muslim bastion in Spain remained and Christopher Columbus declared his intentions to create a route to the Indies by navigating towards the East to Isabel of Castile and Ferdinand of Aragon. The hotel is just next to the link to the highway 92, 10 km away from Granada's city centre and only a 45-minute drive to the ski resort of Sierra Nevada. The local airport is just 3 km away and Pablo Picasso Ruiz airport (Malaga) is 130 km away.

Facility

2 junior suites, 5 single rooms and 86 double rooms are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Not a good experience.

    Check-in was OK but very functional! My room was located at the front of the hotel and there was a lot of traffic noise. Room was a good size but cold. No one was at reception when I checked out and so I just left my key card on the desk and left. Not a good experience but the hotel is very close to Granada airport.

    We are staying at Bs capitulations otel for two nights. 1 more night left. There is no hot water. Receptionist wont help us, they do nothing. Expecially one blonde woman at the reception directly lie to us. Worst hotel i wisited. We learn that they do not provide hot water and always say a technician comes and fix it. It is a lie. A blonde receptionist woman, she is very intresting. She does nothing. Directly lied to me. Do not stay at this hotel.

    Strategic location guarantees them business!

    Only 5 km from airport and so this strategic location which guarantees them trade. They also have budget tourists staying here who go to Granada each day on coaches ! Mainly Chinese tourists. It was not the place for me ! Staff were friendly but the other guests were not easy to get along with and were pushy and sort of took over in large groups ! Buffet experience not good.

    Been there only for one night before catching our flight from Granada airport. The hotel is a three star, with dreams to be of higher category. The structure is huge, rooms are of good size and generally renovated, however they miss some details like the tap of sink totally ruined in a recently renovated bathroom. For breakfast we were addressed to an underground area where there was only a group of Chinese tourists eating. The buffet was therefore salty, with almost no chance of having something sweet. Only available, bread, marmelade (some of them were expired and rotten) and the level of hygiene of dishes was quite poor. There should be more care about these details. Personnel at reception was very kind and helpful, while at buffet there were only two waiters for thee entire group and they spent their time mainly chatting and not replenishing the food. The position of hotel is strategic- 5 km only from Granada airport, but the access from the highway is not intuitive and easy, even with a GPS. We had to drive in circles before being able to enter the parking. Worth for one night if you need to catch an early flight, otherwise there are many other opportunities downtown Granada.

    Rated as a 4 star hotel? It is not a 4 star experience ! Large hotel that is very close to airport so it good for early/late flights. However it is not a hotel for visiting Granada city- so many betyer hotels in ciry itself. Large hotel with impressive lobby area. Bar and restaurant at ground level and a sub level buffet to cater for their 'coach trips' - chinese tourists looking for cheap granada hotel. Bedrooms small although comfortable once you get the aircon going. Service very mixed.
