    UBABLE TO CONTACT THE HOTEL.....

    Due to check in tomorrow. Trying to contact the hotel. The phone os not answered and their email facilityu refduses to upload. I tried the messaging facility and, so far, had no response.

    Thankfully, we only spent one night here. It has an old stark facade and the lobby is abut the same. The two elevators are very small and slow. The room was also very small, best described as spartan and occasionally had a musty smell. There was a lack of accessible outlets. I will say you can at least get a hot shower. There are no English television stations for news if you desire one. As far as the restaurant, we saw the offerings (which was included in our package) and went elsewhere. I will say the young man on the night shift was very courteous and helpul.

    Valencia is a beautiful city, a lot to offer to all age groups. The location of this hotel is 12 min by walk from central town. Nice hotel with decent room size for 2/3 people and bathroom. Room has an Aircon, small fridge and a wardrobe with safe. Small lifts but runs day/night. Room with breakfast option is recommended. Almond and Oat milk are served in breakfast but not much gluten-free options. Plenty of paid covered parking option just 2 mins from hotel. Parking costs € 17.50 for 24 hours. Old town, cafe's, Cathedral, shops, a Mosque and restaurants are within 10 mins walk from hotel. Town center is 12 min by walk with plenty of restaurants including Indian and Turkish restaurants. From town center to Alhambra palace, you can either take a bus (route C30 - cost € 1.65) or taxi (cost € 8) if do not fancy climbing by foot.Spending at least half a day in old town is highly recommended and of course you need at least a day to fully enjoy Alhambra and Carlos Palaces and surroundings.

    Tiny room with beds very close together. We had a small balcony fortunately. Had to remove a bench so my husband could navigate around the bed. Dinner was good as well as service. Breakfast room was crowded with several tour buses. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Grocery store nearby, also other restaurants.

    There are aspects of our stay that were quite satisfactory but in comparison to the precious hotels we have experienced on our tour, this so far has been the most disappointing. Wonderfully central and within walking distance to the centre of town and the cathedral. Room 417 facing the road. Remarkably, we both slept well in very comfortable beds but be warned. There are no blankets actually on the bed but they are in the cupboard. So maybe grab one BEFORE you go to sleep otherwise you might freeze, as we did. Mid May and cold! The safe was open and had wires hanging out of it so it was unable to be used. We spoke to the concierge at the front desk who assured us it would be dealt with. On our return the safe was still open and the wires had been cut off. Thank you. The only blockout window coverings are shutters on the outside window which I pulled up on our arrival. Unable to pull down to sleep so slept with the light shining in in the morning. Reported this and the safe (again). Still waiting. Careful in the shower. The ward runs scaldingly hot or freezing cold in the space of 30seconds. This apparently is the same in many of the rooms as others experienced the same. Breaky was pretty good but extremely busy and crowded. Would be cautious to recommend.
