  Beautiful but may think again with young child in tow

  What a beautiful location. The pros of the venue are many including: exceptionally friendly staff, very clean, excellent sized rooms, wonderful facilities (especially kids pool) and great variety of food - especially breakfast.To be objective for families with small children - I would say that we stayed for too long. I think the hotel works best for couples and groups. The problem we had is that we got quite bored. I know there are tennis courts, small playground, horses etc, but with small children it's not enough. The biggest problem is that it's in the middle of nowhere. It's beautiful with all the surrounding olive groves, but we found the nearby towns to be very residential and not catering to tourists. Small violins at hand, but it's hard to do a night out with a young child when everything opens at 8pm.On site, we enjoyed the lunch restaurant but thought the bar and El Cortino were a bit average. It's a wonderful place, but I think it's worth knowing if you do have a toddler.   It’s the perfect place for a family holiday

  It’s the perfect place for a family holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay. They have a Kids’ Club and a children’s spa, both of which are brilliant. This meant that both my wife and I were able to enjoy some relaxing moments on our own, as well as some really lovely and fun times with our son.There are loads of activities to enjoy; the horse ride we went on was brilliant. The same goes for the bike rides.The restaurants are excellent and offer a variety of cuisines. The Paella night with live music comes highly recommended.To be honest, all the staff made us feel very well looked after, especially my son.We’ll definitely be back next year.   What a fabulous find. A fantastic oasis of green in the Andelucian countryside. The peaceful location is dotted with charming traditional buildings. The food offer at each of the restaurants is delicious and, in my opinion, good value. The rooms are thoughtfully furnished and have charm and character and the staff are very helpful and friendly. All of this adds to the excellent facilities that are documented elsewhere. What’s not to love? I’m about to book my next stay!   Superb staff and hotel grounds

  The staff and grounds make this place a complete paradise. Our hire car unfortunately broke down c.15 minutes from the hotel, the staff at the hotel were exceptional, picking my family up in a matter of minutes. The grounds and setting is breathtaking, never felt busy but also had an atmosphere.   It’s a lovely place overall, but there are quite a few details that could be improved.One of the main issues was the number of wasps around the pool area. It made it very difficult to fully relax and enjoy the pool, as we were constantly worried about being stung. Unfortunately, my two-year-old was actually stung during our stay.I was also quite surprised by the bathroom amenities, particularly that the shower gel and shampoo were the same product. When a property positions itself as a luxury accommodation, I think that level of attention to detail should be reflected throughout the entire experience. This was therefore quite disappointing.On a more positive note, the housekeeping staff were all exceptionally kind, attentive, and thoughtful, especially with our children, which we really appreciated. In contrast, the waiters around the pool area came across as quite nonchalant and less attentive, which did not quite match the level of service we expected from a luxury property.
