  Title: Excellent Hotel with Stunning Rooftop Views and Wonderful Service!

  My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Granada and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The hotel has a stylish, creative, and minimalist design, particularly in the lobby, which offers a refreshing and welcoming atmosphere. Location is excellent, just off Gran Via, close to pretty much everything (restaurants, shopping) including a bus to Alhambra. We had an excellent room facing a church with a partial view of Gran Via. One of the highlights is the sixth-floor rooftop terrace, which offers absolutely stunning views of Granada. The rooftop features a lovely sitting area where guests can relax, take in the scenery, and enjoy the atmosphere. There is also a small plunge pool, which is a particularly nice touch and adds to the overall experience.The complimentary breakfast was quite good as well and we were impressed that breakfast is served until 11 AM every day (not sure about weekends).Equally impressive was the service at the front desk, restaurant and housekeeping. The staff were consistently courteous, friendly, and attentive, contributing to a very pleasant and comfortable stay.Overall, this hotel offers a wonderful combination of contemporary design, excellent amenities, spectacular views, and warm hospitality. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Granada!

  unacceptable experience - room 307

  Extremely disappointing and unacceptable experienceWe have stayed at Macià Group hotels before and had nothing but lovely experiences, which is why we were particularly disappointed by our stay at Macià Granada 5 Senses Rooms & Suites.The location is excellent and very central, but unfortunately that is where the positives end.We stayed in room 307, and within approximately 10 minutes of entering the room, both of us began experiencing significant symptoms: extremely stuffy noses, sore and scratchy throats, red and itchy eyes, and headaches. The symptoms would noticeably improve when we left the room and return shortly after going back inside. This happened repeatedly and was impossible to ignore. This was not allergies, which neither of us have.We tried everything we could ourselves to make the room tolerable, including keeping the window open and turning off the air conditioning. While this helped somewhat, it did not resolve the problem. At that point, we did not feel comfortable continuing to stay in the room.What is most unacceptable is how the hotel handled the situation. We informed the staff that the room was making us physically unwell and asked to be moved, but they refused to change our room and did not offer any meaningful alternative or solution. We were simply left in a room where we were experiencing immediate and recurring symptoms.We specifically chose this hotel based in part on our previous positive experiences with the Macià Group. Unfortunately, this stay has completely changed our impression.I would strongly encourage management to investigate room 307 and the condition of the room/carpet/hvac/walls, because whatever was causing the issue made the room effectively unusable for us. We would also like to clarify that, when you contacted our Reception team, more than 24 hours had passed since your arrival. Nevertheless, our team took your concerns seriously and did everything possible to assist you at that time, including arranging for the room to be cleaned again. Unfortunately, due to the time of day and the availability of rooms at that particular moment, an immediate room change was not possible. Our Reception team is available 24 hours a day and remains committed to assisting our guests and finding the most appropriate solution whenever a concern arises during their stay.   Noisy hotel on main street

  Stayed here for 3 nights in September 2026. Hotel is on a very busy road, Gran Via,Very thin walls, smallish rooms (we had a king bed), constant humming and chirping heard from the elevator. Our room faced the side street and was supposedly one of the quiet rooms, yet we heard nightly noise from the restaurants and the elevator.Centrally located so you can walk everywhere. We did take a taxi to Alhambra since it’s up a steep hill.Morning manager Maryna is very friendly and gave lots of good tips and advice on local sightseeing.I would not stay here again. We felt it was too noisy and there were other smaller hotels in other parts of Granada which we saw that looked like better options.   I stayed for one night in this lovely hotel while on holiday in Malaga. Centrally located and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The room was very well presented and the staff were so helpful in particular letting me have the room early . I would definitely return.
