Facility

Suites, apartments, single rooms and 48 double rooms are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift.     Clean but unsafe and noisy

    I arrived back at my hotel at 6pm and went to sleep at 12pm. At 2am, I found my door open. Nothing had been taken and I placed my bag against the door to try and sleep. The next morning, I was told the security system would be checked and additional security would be put on. I don’t know if this had been done but I was very disappointed when I went to leave 2 days later and security footage hadn’t been checked, nor had the manager contacted me re my concern. I was visibly upset and was told I probably didn’t lock the door properly in the first place. I found the comment dismissive and believe it highly unlikely that I could be awake in a room for 6 hours and not notice an open door (or that a security guard didn’t think to shut it). The fact that contact was not made, even after I left, has led me to assume something was found and it was in the hotel’s best interest to remain quiet. This is not ok! I travel solo regularly and this is the first time I have felt unsafe inside a hotel.

    Location was good. Cleanliness of room and bathroom was good as well. But the bed was not comfortable. The breakfast was average. Generally based on the budget it was good and proper.

    We booked 2 rooms, when my daughter arrived the hotelroom smelled horrible, and she could not stay. The plan was that we arrived the next day for the second room. However when she called us crying on the phone we cancelled our reservation for the coming night at 1330 o’clock. Seemed fine, but then I got an email saing we cancelled to late (after 12) and will be charged for the room anyway. This was never informed beforehand. This is a scam hotel, stay away!

    This hotel has an excellent location close to attractions and lots of restaurants nearby. Great breakfast which was continually topped up by staff even though was busy. Staff friendly and rooms cleaned daily to a good standard. Beds comfy and decent shower.

    Stayed over new years and after staying at a few dreary hotels in Spain, we loved this hotel.For the price we got a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the Alhambra with a view of the Sierra mountains. New years was spectacular as we had front row seats to the fireworks and our own little space to get away from the busy streets. Being on the fourth floor, it was also quite quiet.I have to compliment the large and comfy bed, the spotless room and neat bathroom. Hot showers and a heater in the room made sure we were always comfortable. Rooms were a decent size too. We were eating breakfast out given some of the reviews here but decided to eat in given how affordable it was at just 11 Euros. The hotel is a short car ride from the train station and in the middle of everything. We walked everywhere, to the chapel, Alhambra, around the Albaycin and Sacromonte. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend this place and stay here again.
