Excellent base for a trip to Granada in the heart of the city

This was not our first stay however had been booked a few months in advance as Holy Week is always busy and costly in Granada. This stay was circa x3 the cost per night of our trip here in December ‘25. Book early!Set in the heart of the renowned tapas area of Calle Navas.Parking can be found very nearby however if visiting during Holy Week be aware of the daily street closures hence we opted to park down near the river with a 10 minute walk. The rooms whilst compact are always very clean and the desk staff are always pleasant. We will be back.

Clean but unsafe and noisy
02 May 2026
I arrived back at my hotel at 6pm and went to sleep at 12pm. At 2am, I found my door open. Nothing had been taken and I placed my bag against the door to try and sleep. The next morning, I was told the security system would be checked and additional security would be put on. I don’t know if this had been done but I was very disappointed when I went to leave 2 days later and security footage hadn’t been checked, nor had the manager contacted me re my concern. I was visibly upset and was told I probably didn’t lock the door properly in the first place. I found the comment dismissive and believe it highly unlikely that I could be awake in a room for 6 hours and not notice an open door (or that a security guard didn’t think to shut it). The fact that contact was not made, even after I left, has led me to assume something was found and it was in the hotel’s best interest to remain quiet. This is not ok! I travel solo regularly and this is the first time I have felt unsafe inside a hotel.

Not bad.

Location was good. Cleanliness of room and bathroom was good as well. But the bed was not comfortable. The breakfast was average. Generally based on the budget it was good and proper.

Stay away!
26 Jun 2025
We booked 2 rooms, when my daughter arrived the hotelroom smelled horrible, and she could not stay. The plan was that we arrived the next day for the second room. However when she called us crying on the phone we cancelled our reservation for the coming night at 1330 o’clock. Seemed fine, but then I got an email saing we cancelled to late (after 12) and will be charged for the room anyway. This was never informed beforehand. This is a scam hotel, stay away!

This hotel has an excellent location close to attractions and lots of restaurants nearby. Great breakfast which was continually topped up by staff even though was busy. Staff friendly and rooms cleaned daily to a good standard. Beds comfy and decent shower.
