Good hotel for exploring Granada

Hotel is in a convenient location, close to the train station and downtown. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. Hotel looks nice. Room is clean and quiet, but with a strange smell (not sure if it is sewage related).

My mother and I stayed here for 4 days, she was recently operated so carried a bunch of medicines with her, she left a blister of alprazolam (a prescription medication) on the closet and by the second night it had disappeared. We searched the entire room twice but we couldn't find it, we called the reception to report the missing medication, they said they would investigate because that's "never happened before". We went to the reception desk in the morning and there was no such report, we asked for the manager and turns out he hadn't arrived so we spoke to the desk clerk instead. She said not to worry that if it didn't appear, "she would give us one because she was also prescribed the same medicine and has boxes of it". We thanked her and resumed our trip.By the next morning, the same desk clerk said she didn't bring any alprazolam with her because "she was sure it would turn out", the manager asked to see us only to blame us for everything and waste our time.Before I forget, some of the food in the buffet is either rotten or from the day before. Just like other reviews mentioned, they don't give you any courtesy water and if you hold a large meeting, you can forget about getting it, the staff will say they're bringing it but won't (notice a pattern there?)So moral of the story, use the safe for all your medicine, specially prescription medication. Don't trust the staff, they'll con you and most importantly, avoid this hotel, it's not even great, it definitely isn't 4 stars, even giving them 2 stars would be generous.

Greeted by Olga on reception. She could teach her colleagues at Hotel Center Sevilla a thing or two! Friendly and helpful. I had asked for a quiet room, when I booked. Olga assured me that 505 was the quietest. She was right. Three nights' silence. We had neighbours, but not a sound.The room is a good size. Excellent AC and WiFi. A big safe and a fridge. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Powerful shower.Large atrium lobby area.One of the best hotels we have stayed in. We will definitely be back!
