    Lovely old fashioned hotel with history

    The premises are more than 100 years old and used to be a Palace for a family in Spanish nobility. As a hotel they have kept that same old fashioned charm, unogradong/ installing ensuite bathroom, of course ! The historic premises are wonderful. Lovely staff too. The only downside was that we visited during a period of atrocious weather and it was rather cold at night . We should have asked for an electric heater to supplement existing heating in room. Overall a comfortable and relaxing stay.

    Had a stay of a couple nights and the hotel, while simple was very comfortable and cozy. The room had an old style heater that was wall mounted. The bed was very comfortable and the extra blankets in the closet were handy given the night temperatures.Overall a very pleasant stay given the short trip.

    Great location within easy walking distance of the old town, excellent facilities, comfortable clean rooms with fridge and small safe.Excellent small spa, and safe secure off site parking.We visited in a quiet period after the summer, the hotel still maintained it's high quality. Although we did not eat in the hotel, the facilities appeared very nice.

    Old fashioned beauty, bad service

    We had a comfortable nice furnished room. But the hotel service is poor. The receptionist continued eating while she helped us and was not very attentive. We wanted coffee in the bar but had to wait because one servant walked away and the other cleaned the toilets. When he came back he prepared our coffee, but did not wash his hands before. The breakfast was poor and bad organised. Coffee was horrible and overcooked. When we asked for cappuccino it was served with clotted cream from an aerosol.

    A pleasant quiet stay in the middle of the old quarter

    A stylish hotel with old fashioned class,The staff were very helpful,the breakfast was average,but I did not like the hotel coffee at breakfast but a staff member fetchedme a cafe solo largo which was very good.It has a small spa on the roof whichwas very well kept.City parking was no problem,usually parked and walked fiveminutes back to the hotel.The hotel does have garage parking for a fee.
