Right in the centre of the town. The hotel is recently refurbed and the beds are comfy. Fresh towels are given daily. Big room with no noise. Tea in room. Cleaners daily. It's definitely in class with 5* hotels in Spain. bus 34 or 32 to Albacion or Sacramento. Take a taxi for 5euro to Alhambra. Right in the heart of it all, this stay delivers convenience with a view to match.

Hotel Macià Plaza is a great base for exploring Granada. The location couldn’t be better - set in a vibrant, lively area that makes getting around incredibly easy.The room was comfortable, with a nice balcony overlooking the square, which added a lovely touch to the stay. We arrived early and as expected, the room wasn’t ready yet, but the staff securely stored our luggage so we could head out and start exploring - always appreciated.Didn’t try the breakfast, so can’t comment there, but overall, the hotel does exactly what it promises. For the price point, it offers solid comfort and excellent convenience.No complaints at all - had a great stay in a truly gorgeous city. What a gem of a hotel. Very friendly staff...small but perfectly adequate room with 2 balconies and a view of the Alhambra. Brilliant location . This hotel is in a perfect location for visiting the Alhambra and other attractions. The room was of adequate size and very clean. The staff on Reception were very welcoming. I guess when you check in and they say the room is small is the giveaway… what they should have said it’s small and noisy. This was the “single comfort” room booked directly with the hotel Paid 90 plus euros a night.Yes very small it is, but I just came to sleep and shower. Noisy the earplugs on the bedside another giveaway. Unfortunately room 005 is right behind the office/ reception so you can hear everyone talking. On the plus side location location was my choice, walk out the door and you are amongst the sights and bars and restaurants. Bed was great. Breakfast adequate selection but coming in at opening time meant cold scrambled eggs. I guess when one books hotels “12” on this trip, you read the reviews and roll the dice. For the most part it works out. Location, budget, ambience etc, close to transport or sights. It’s your call at the end of the day.
