Quirky and charming

A completely idiosyncratic hotel in the most perfectly quirky location, yet at the heart of the city, next to the Alhambra and efficiently run by friendly staff. Super breakfast and located within 50m of Ossobuca, a great (and great value) Italian-with-a-difference. Highly recommended

Very good location and a spacious room but everything downhill after that.Almost impossible to access the wardrobe with the door on one side blocked by the bedside table. Bathroom in need of a complete refurbishment. Currently a shower attachment over the bath, and no sink in the bathroom it’s in the main bedroom area ! Booked bed and breakfast but wished we’d just walked out to one of several local cafe’s as the food quality was quite poor and very congested around the buffet table at busy times. Regarding the wardrobe, we regret the inconvenience caused by the position of the bedside table. We will certainly review this to see whether the room layout can be improved.We are also sorry that the bathroom facilities were not to your taste. Our hotel is housed in a historic 16th-century palace, and some of our rooms retain traditional layouts and features, including bathrooms with a bathtub and the washbasin positioned within the bedroom area. We understand that this may not suit every guest, although these characteristics are part of the individual design and charm of the roomWith regard to breakfast, we are sorry that the congestion around the buffet during busy periods affected your experience. A really pleasant stay in a hotel that has been carefully restored around a very old original set of buildings. Courteous service, a sound selection of breakfast options, and comfortable and clean rooms. Handy to all we wished to see and experience.

The hotel is in a great location for walking around Granada & visiting the various sights. Only a 25 minute walk to Alhambra, albeit up hill all the way. Also, near many restaurants/bars. Our room & bathroom we large & clean with all the normal amenities. The bathroom had both a walk in shower & bath. The room & public areas were clean & the staff friendly, helpful & personable. Our room furniture was a little dated & we had to unplug the bedside lamps to enable overnight charging of devices, but not a big issues. Overall a good stay at a reasonable price.
