Location

This hotel is centrally situated at the heart of Granada. As a consequence, it is an ideal starting point for exploring the many sights of the city. There are several various types of shopping and entertainment venues located in the area surrounding the hotel. Granada airport is 15 km away and Málaga airport is around 125 km from the hotel. Sierra Nevada ski slopes are just 30 minutes away by car. The Mediterranean coast is located 45 minutes away by car.

Facility

3 suites, 18 single rooms and 100 double rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. A cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. A balcony is among the standard amenities of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed or a queen-size bed.     Not welcoming. Not 4*. But great locale.

    We were so excited to go to Granada. And Granada is fabulous. But this hotel is not. From the moment we entered the lobby, we were met with fairly unfriendly reception staff. To be fair, they did check us in early, which we were grateful for. But welcoming, they were not. The room they put us in was right next to the cleaners’ cupboard, so an early wake up call of chatting and clashing things around greeted us. Obviously the cleaners have to do their thing, but a little consideration for guests at 6am would have been nice. The breakfast was appalling. Utterly awful. Greasy food, if any had been put out. We went to breakfast early enough but things were not replenished. So we ‘missed out’ on a number of items in the hot food. The neighbourhood was good and it was ok to walk into the centre etc. However, in general, the staff were surly and unwelcoming. We’d say this is definitely NOT a 4* hotel. I’m sure there are other, much nicer places to stay.

    A good budget hotel - just don't expect a 4 star experience

    The best thing about this hotel is the price and the location: right in the center of town within walking distance to practically everything but there is no way this is a 4 star hotel. The room and bathroom were small and furnished with low end furniture. There was no box of tissues, no shampoo (just an all in one cleanser) and very little storage. Only one side of the bed had an outlet so one person had to charge devices on the desk. The safe required a key that you had to check out from the front desk then carry with you all day long. (Fearing I might lose it we didn't bother). The walls were tissue thin - we could hear everything that was happening in the room next door. On the plus side the bathroom offered a bidet, the bed was comfortable with a memory foam pillow, the A/C and fridge both worked and the wifi signal was strong and reliable. Breakfast was "adequate".     a transit hotel for coach tours

    It has had some major issues with aircon. the reception really do not care. we had a medical issue later in the evening and were met with indifference hence one star.it does have a liitle pool upstairs , take your own towel, breakfasts are budget. rooms are ok but many had issues with aircon. its about a 15 minute walk up to the centre of granada, the hotel is on a little street in a built up area, there is a supermarket within 100m where you can buy water. there is a little cafe in this hotel which is fairly basic. this hotel caters for coach parties so if booking yourself there must be better optionsit is not 4 star but 3 star GRUPO HOTELES PORCEL SL, Atención al cliente/recepción at Hotel Porcel Sabica, responded to this review Dear John, Thank you very much for staying at Hotel Porcel Sabica and for the time spent assessing your most recent stay.     Nice hotel in good location

    Good mid range hotel located in city on Granada.. Location- a few minutes to the main central shopping area, about 10-15 minutes walkTo the cathedral.There are lots of bars and close by and a large shopping centre.Rooms- good standard and nicely decorated and furnished , pretty spacious for city hotel. We had a shower over bath in bathroom and there was always hot water . We were on the front of the building next to their bright neon sign so if you light sensitive for sleeping might be best to ask for a room away from this. However there are blackout curtains which worked well . There was some street noise until around midnight .Bed was large and comfortable but only one pillow provided .There was a mini fridge and also tea: coffee making facilities in room .Hotel reception clean and bright nice area to sit in .Breakfast/ Dinner - Good breakfast Buffett with a lot of choice regularly replenished . You could order bars snacks from menu during day and there was also an evening Buffett available which looked good . We didn’t take the Buffett but several others on our tour did and said it was very good . There is a roof top pool available.
