Superb for the price.

When you pay just €49 per room... you don't expect much but this hotel way surpassed our expectations. The staff were extremely friendly and reception is open 24 hours. It is right in the heart of the main shopping area and a super location. We'd definitely stay here again.

mildewy smell

Budget hotel in a great location, two major issues: bathroom and housekeeping. Bathroom: as soon as we walked in the room we were hit with the overwhelming mildewy smell and we isolated it to the bathroom. The bathroom was so awkward the door literally hits the bathroom sink and can barely open/close. The showerhead holder is broken and doesn't hold the handheld shower head. And there is no room to step off the tub without hitting the toilet. It was dark and damp, even with the window open.Housekeeping: we found used toilet tissues wadded up in the closet (likely from the previous guests). How does housekeeping miss this? The safe was also locked and unusable. Other than that, the room itself was clean and quiet (not bad considering it is near the hustling shopping area). The beds were comfortable and the room is large.

Good value in central location

Average because it depends what your priorities are. It you are on a budget and you want a central convenient location, this hotel is excellent and good value for money. It has all the basics: en suite rooms including single rooms, toiletries and towels, 24hr reception and daily cleaning if needed. There was not much sound proofing so could be noisy depending on your neighbours. Breakfast was in the cafe on the top floor and was very disappointing, consisting of an orange juice, coffee and croissant . If offered take the option without and treat yourself to breakfast in one of the many cafes close by. For me the central location was most important.

Helpful staff .Central location 5 mins to the cathedral.Breakfast is quite good and is served on a top floor terrace ,which is open all day as a coffee shop and bar .The room was small ,no space to open a second suitcase,but it was ok

The hotel is very well located at the city central, walking distance from main areas (except Alhambra of course), It is old and furniture needs a replacement, but it is clean and quiet. There is a restaurant on the rooftop, very good, good prices.
