  A very good stay.

  A very well thought out building, housing many apartments, we had the cosy version, it was modern clean and spacious, it had a very well equipped kitchen area including a fridge, microwave, dish washer and hob, a living /dining room which led to a balcony. A separate bedroom and a shower room. It was very quiet. The reception staff were very helpful and efficient. We stayed for 3 nights, but had to park off-site for the last night as there are limited parking spaces available. We were directed to an underground car park for the last night £28 and we paid £44 for the 2 nights at the apartment. If you are travelling by car, book your car park at the Abba as soon as you can. Parking in San Sebastian can be a nightmare and expensive.We enjoyed our stay and did a lot of walking as the Abba is a 15-20 minute walk into the Old Town. Gros itself is a lively area, we had a good night out in the Pintxos bars. All in all a very good stay.   Fantastic stay – perfect location and exceptional service

  This was our second time visiting San Sebastián, and our stay at Abba Apartments Playa del Gros was absolutely excellent. We were there over New Year’s Eve, and everything about the experience exceeded our expectations.The location is unbeatable – right by the beach and in the heart of Gros, which is such a hip, vibrant area. There are so many great bars, cafés and food spots right on your doorstep, making it a brilliant place to stay. It’s also only about a 15-minute walk into the Centro, which is ideal for exploring the city while staying in a lively but relaxed neighbourhood.A special mention has to go to Iñaki on the front desk – he was absolutely wonderful. Friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, he really made us feel at home and added a personal touch to our stay.Parking was very easy. We parked by the seafront, just a 5-minute walk away, and it only cost a couple of euros for the night, which was a great bonus.The apartments themselves are modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean, making them perfect for a city break. We would highly recommend Abba Apartments Playa del Gros and would happily stay here again on a future visit to San Sebastián.   It is our second stay and we love it. It is spacious comfortable clean and practical. The car hasn't moved in 3 days.   Definitely a 3-4 star experience!

  We have rented two rooms for one week in July 2023. Both apartments were very nice and spacious enough. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom and shower very nice, the hairdryer of good quality. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need (even a dishwasher, iron, drying racket for clothes). Great holiday home feeling! Definitely a 3-4 star experience.The city and the beach are in walking distance, so are numerous restaurants, bars, super markets, etc. And San Sebastian is a great city, for sure worth a return.Also very handy is the washing machine and dryer in the basement (4 Euro).What I would improve:1. The idea of self cleaning the apartment is ok (the receptionist explained it clearly), but there is no groom available to wipe away the sand when coming from the beach, no cloth to clean the bathroom. So you either need to bring your own basic cleaning equipment for vacation or go and buy stuff.2. We enjoyed having a toaster, but power outlets are on weird places (see pic).3. We did not realize that parking facilities are super limited and did not reserve a spot in advance, so we ended up parking in a park house which was very expensive (Txofre, which is close by).4. The apartment was clean, but not the balcony (bread crumbs and stains of coffee on the table), I would include the balcony to the cleaning routine.
