    Great location, great staff, great rooms

    This hotel has a historic exterior and very modern interior. Rooms are clean and well-appointed, with coffee and tea makers, mini-fridge, and amenities like shampoo, shower gel, and lotion. Staff are all extremely friendly and helpful--they even helped us buy our bus tickets on line and printed them out for us. We didn't try the restaurant, but had a nice glass of cava in the bar, which is very comfortable and relaxing. The location is excellent, a short walk from the bus and train stations and the old town area. It is in Gros, where there are many cafes and pintxos bars and not so many tourists. The beach is also a quick walk from the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

    Perfect hotel in a perfect location

    Lovely hotel within walking distance of the bus station and old town. Perfect location. The rooms are big, modern and well maintained. Bathroom was lovely with a big walking shower. We really enjoyed the breakfasts every morning with a great selection to suit everyone. Staff were all very helpful and professional. Will be back!     We only stayed one night after a very long drive. Staff were friendly and welcoming.Room was excellent, very well maintained and comfortable, good shower, large comfortable bed and the breakfast was very good quality with lots of choices.     We stayed at this hotel for four nights as part of a 25th wedding anniversary holiday, having made the booking the previous November.The hotel is ideally located, easily accessible from the main train station and, as we did, from the nearby Euskotren station. It is also only a short walk to the city centre, and to the beaches.We had a first floor room facing the river, from which the view was excellent. The room was of a high standard, including the luxurious bathroom. The room was spotless on arrival and was cleaned daily. All of the hotel staff were very helpful, including at the reception, at the rooftop bar (which is worth a visit just for the views) and in the main bar.We would highly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to visit San Sebastian.
