    Stayed the weekend Friday Saturday. The location is superb for exploring San Sebastián. Staff very friendly. Breakfast self service and an amazing selection. A short stroll to beach and old town. Rooms are small but well equipped. There is also a small outdoor patio area and roof terrace.     Honestly, I've never had such a bizarre hotel experience as the one I just had at the Zenith Hotel Convento San Sebastian. We booked two nights. The room and the hotel itself were perfectly fine. On our last day, we arrived at 9:46 p.m., went to the bar, and waited. After about 10 minutes, the receptionist called her colleagues, telling them she should finally start serving guests at the bar. Another 10 minutes later, the woman appeared at the bar and informed us that it had been closed since 9:45 p.m. We were denied a final drink to end our evening. There was no room service either. It's a shame; we would have liked to enjoy our last evening with a glass of wine. It's a shame, also for Zenith Hotels. We certainly won't be recommending any of them, nor will we be staying at any of them again. Thanks for nothing.     Good hotel, bar staff need more focus.

    Charming hotel, formerly a convent.  The young lady that checked us in was very informative, friendly and professional.  Our bedroom was large and comfortable. Good bathroom with power shower and quality bed linen.  The hotel is less than three minutes walk to the beach.On the downside, the customer service from bar staff leaves a lot to be desired.  The young man on duty Saturday evening while serving us, turned his back on us in mid conversation.  He engaged in conversation with a colleague and ignored us therafter.  His behavior was quite rude.  We had to draw the attention of another staff member to complete our order. Finally,  it might be a good idea to make an announcement 10 minutes before the bar is due to close as many guests were quite surprised at being refused service in an abrupt manner by the young lady.  After the first evenings experience we chose to have drinks elsewhere and found staff at other establishments far more cheerful, efficient  and service orientated. Were it not for the unprofessionsl behaviour of bar staff we would have given a 5 star rating.     Atmospheric, trendy, with incredible staff and so central. An upgrade to the Santa Clara suite which is stunning, sumptuous and luxurious made out trip to San Sebastian unforgettable. It was hard to leave the room and explore the charms of San Sebastian, but explore we did.
