  Basic overnight stopover

  Clean room in the heart of the old town. Good for a one night stopover while visiting San Sebastian. Friendly manager who was very helpful. Value for money with shower, small balcony air conditioning etc. No other facilities available.

  Perfect location for a perfect stay

  A hostel vibe, without the hostel! This pension was perfect - location, staff, room, and clean! WiFi is available. The bathroom was huge and room big enough for 3 single beds! No kettle in room, unfortunately, but cafes were a short walk. We looked down onto one of the main streets, which did pick up some street noise, but hey - you're in Basque, baby! Key drop off was a little confusing, so we left on bed. Loved our stay here!

  Great Location, Great Value!

  Great location in the Old Town area! Our room was very comfortable with a private bath and balcony overlooking the street. Thanks to the double windows, all was quiet in our room when we wanted it to be! There is a small lift, so no need to lug suitcases up the 3 or 4 flights. I apologize I don’t remember her name, but the woman from Romania who works here was especially helpful and friendly even though she was suffering from a bad cold during our 4 day stay! I would definitely recommend Pension Irune and will stay here again given the opportunity to visit San Sebastián again! Thanks!   Central Location of Old SS Town

  We knew this place has a very basic accommodation, the mere fact it is not advertised as a hotel. Rooms were clean but rather small (as expected). The bathroom may need additional scrubbing (dark spots in the tiles & corners)...overall, it is location, location, location!!!Right outside our window and a petite balcony, we have a view of the Plaza de la Constitucion, a few meters away is one of the famous pinto bars in SS, Ganbara, then a corner away is El Fuego Negro...Atari, Bar Txepetxa, Zeruko...and many more bars just a short walk from your room.There is a small elevator, helps in hauling your luggage when checking-in and out.   Right in the center of the old town

  Location, location, location. I try to stay here when I visit San Sebastian, but you need to book well in advance. t's great value for your money. You may even get a discount for paying cash.The rooms are clean and well outfitted in an older building.There are no frills - no restaurant or room safe. But you have all of the basics -- triple locked doors, elevator, A/C and heaters, TV, WiFi, double windows, bathroom with shower & hair dryer, and friendly staff. Small pets are welcome.Yes, it can be noisy at night, but the same is true for any hotels close to Bars. I only found it noisy during soccer matches. If you want to be right in the center, this is the place to stay.Their are many choices for breakfast nearby including a bakery right around the corner.The train stations Renfe and Eusko Tren (Amara) are within walking distance, as is the bus station for Bilbao.
