Great place to stay if in Astigarragagh

Stayed overnight here . The residence is above commercial units and so there is only an entrance doorway visible from the street. There is a lift as well as stairs up to the bedrooms. Do not let this put you off. Our room was a Business Double room with Queen bed ( which was enormous). It was so comfortable too. Lovely huge walk in shower with powerful spray. Lovely fixed to wall soaps , shampoos etc. Big fluffy bath sheet sized towels . Safe in room too. You need to phone number on arrival to get access to key card in locked box . If you are ok with this and don’t need a reception desk definitely recommend you stay here . It’s a little gem of a hotel . Only 5 minutes walk up him to bars and a few places to eat .

Great experience with this hotel. We were concerned when we first arrived to the area. We didn’t know exactly where it was as we were by what looked kind of industrial. Once we parked and approached the entrance, there was no one there other than someone on the intercom that gave us instructions on how to get inside. Once inside we were very surprised at how nice the facility looked. Everything was super clean and well put together. The room was fantastic, it was big comfortable and modern, the air conditioning worked great too. Better than some 4* we have stayed.

Had een foute datum bij reserveren ingegeven.In dezelfde minuut geannuleerd…En toch: geld kwijt!Conditions are conditions was the only answer!A bit disappointed I was, could have solved better.Like: keep the money and make another reservation in 3 months or so.Now I’d rather sleep under the bridge than in that house!

A gem to save some bucks

Service: +Rooms: ++Cleanliness:+Breakfast: noneLocation: -/+Price: +Wifi: available but we did not used it A fine place to stay if you fancy the San Sebastián pintxos but do not want to pay for the overpriced accommodations. The bus stops across the street and costs €1,85 (one way). Rooms were overall clean, could be slightly better with the sheets. Huge towels, loved that. Parking is free, but scarce available spots.

I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re expecting at least some decent customer facing attitude! I made a reservation online, also paid 10% to keep a superior single room, but when I arrived the host was very rude and didn’t even let me in the building because apparently the hotel was already full. Double booking mistakes happen, but this guy was shouting at me over the phone whilst I was outside that I am not his problem, and that I should contact the booking provider. I was a bit upset too, but more about the attitude and the hotel’s policy around solving problems that their customers have. What kind of person keeps someone who has a reservation in the street? Shame, the place looks ok from the outside, although the windows look very small and the entrance is from a large and noisy industrial car park.
