    Great value for money

    Booked as a last minute get away, it was great value for money and I would recommend. The location is great, there’s a spar shop and a big gym just around the corner. The beach, cafes, bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Our room was spacious and clean, there is a notice to say that rooms are cleaned every 3 days, and we did get cleaners popping into our room during our stay. The staff at reception were really helpful and did say we could always get new towels if needed. The staff really made our stay special, especially Claudia. They also advised us of excursions and things to do nearby, such as where to hire paddleboards which we enjoyed. The lockable communal showers are ideal if you are guests - who like us- have a late flight. So you can freshen up before the journey home after a day at the beach or in the pool.

    We paid £130 each for three nights, flights and hotel. Given the bad reviews I really wasn’t expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised.We were greeted warmly at reception and quickly checked in. The room was large and very clean. The bathroom and balcony were good with a view of a neighbouring pool and partial sea view. The bed was comfortable and there was a TV although we couldn’t find channels in English. The walls are very thin but as we travelled in the low season this didn’t bother us. The shower does go from scalding to freezing which was annoying. Our towels were changed daily and there were extra pillows and blankets in the cupboard. We didn’t use the safe but were glad of the mini fridge.The pool area is very clean. You can see the shell of construction work one way but from the other, palm trees. It was too cold to swim this time of year but we never had a problem getting a bed to lay out on and we particularly liked the day beds.I can’t comment on the food or drink as we didn’t try these. However there is a Spar three minutes away and next to it, Cool Cafe, which does both a great breakfast and dinner. We went every day.It’s about 10 euros into San Antonio. I would recommend the Aquarium Cap Blanc. It’s not big but it’s a unique experience.10 minutes walk from the hotel is Kojima which does amazing food. There is also Kumharas, a great beach bar with brilliant cocktails.There is a secure locked room to store luggage and showers if you need them before you travel. It’s about half an hour from the airport and cost us 28 euros. I really don’t understand the bad reviews - we had a great stay, thank you.

    Stayed with my 2 best friends from the 12th June until the 16th June.Check in began with some stress as we were told they could not find our reservation. Turns out Love Holidays had us under the wrong name so not the hotels fault at all. I believe the receptionist name was Ruben and he quickly located the correct booking using the dates and number of people on the reservation. We got into our room with no delays.The rooms are spacious and clean. The sofa bed was pulled out and made up for our arrival so we didn't need to mess around with that. Plenty storage space and a full length mirror on the wall which is a bonus when you have a room with 3 girls in it. We had a couple of issues with the shower and the air-conditioning. The shower kept going from scalding hot to freezing cold which was annoying. The air-conditioning would work and other times it wouldn't and in 30 degrees you definitely need it. On one occasion when we arrived back from a day at the beach our door was wide open and we definitely closed it. Nothing was taken which we were amazed at but is still baffling us, maybe the cleaners were in and didn't close it, we are not sure. The walls are very thin so you could hear everything. When the room upstairs flushed their toilet it sounded like our bathroom was flooding, thankfully it wasn't.The pool area was quiet when we stayed so always sun loungers available. The area was always messy though, people leaving drinks spilled so the tiles would get really sticky, empty cigarette packets lying around and generally people just being lazy and not cleaning up after themselves. This isn't a staff issue but it would help to have someone keeping on top of the cleaning of the pool area. The pool itself was clean and a really nice temp, not too cold at all.Any of the staff we dealt with were very pleasant and helpful. There wasn't a lot to do in the surrounding area for us as we enjoy the west end of San Antonio but taxi's are always available and usually only 10 euros to get there. The water taxi is also available. it is 5 euros per person and is within walking distance. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment but the breakfast looked nice. The view while sitting at the pool isn't great, derelict buildings across the road which isn't nice to look at. Again not the hotels fault but just something to point out if you like a nice view while sunbathing. Overall we had a good stay but I don't think I would rush back to this hotel mainly because of the location.     Good value , clean hotel, good location near to beaches and shops and restaurants.Stayed in a studio apartment, large terrace , kitchen needs to be better equipped. Everything is clean. Can’t go wrong for the price.Hotel gave us a slightly later check out for free which was kind. Very helpful staff.
