Location

This hotel offers an ideal location by the bay of San Antonio for every holiday need. The hotel is only one street from a fine sand beach (100 m). 20 single rooms and 233 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Just returned from here .. lovely hotel rooms really nice good shower . Firstly let me say something about the “ cup gate “ situation…people moaning about plastic cups and tokens …. Personally I think it’s a brilliant idea .. it’s “ self tidying up !!” I’d much rather take it back than have 20 cups on tables and the place being trashed .. never had a problem with the staff … try being nice , say please and thank you, goes a long way … if you got a crappy service may just be you … I spoke to all the staff respectfully with a smile and “please .. thank you … always hiya or Hola and got it back !!!!Food was really nice and tasty salad selection is brilliant ( especially the potato salad ) .. yes a couple of times could have been hotter but it wasn’t cold by any means. .. so if your polite , don’t expect 6*+ food and it concerns you you only get ONE CUP … get 2 more tickets or however many you need because however many tickets or cup you take they serve you no problem… so go enjoy and have fun

    Visited Azuline for 1 week with family and friends. The location is spot on.The atmosphere is good.The card system is inconvenient. You need a token for your drinks which you need to make sure you dont lose, otherwise you have to pay €1 for a replacement. Which is understandable as it keeps the hotel tidy, but its just not the type of hassle you need on holiday.You need cards for your rooms which constantly stop working.You need a card for the car park.You need a card for the roof terrace. You need 1 card each for going into the restaurant although everyone has a wristband. It just doesnt make sense.The rooms are really really small, especially for a family of 4. The walls are super thin and you can hear everything from the rooms next door. The vent in the bathroom is basically like an open window, you can hear clear conversations and everything else that happens in the bathroom.The restaurant situation is annoying, its not big enough to accommodate for all the guests. They dont have enough staff... the tables aren't being cleaned quickly and the food doesnt get replaced for a long time. But the poor staff, including the chefs are super friendly and patient and are constantly running around. The sunbed situation is also a joke. There are 3 pools. 1 family pool, 1 baby pool and an adult pool. People reserve sunbeds from 6am around the family and baby pools. If you go after 8, you wont even find 1 sunbed.There's not enough umbrellas and people move them around and often have 2 or e umbrellas to themselves.Value for money is good, you get what you pay for. It does what it says in the tin for a 3 star hotel, you get a 3 star experience. The hotel staff are really friendly, always smiling and are super helpful. From reception, bar staff, entertainment and the cleaners.The hotel is super clean and well looked after.I would visit again but probably without children as it's not convenient from many perspectives.

    Horrible grubby hotel

    Just returned from a week at this hotel . Honestly found it to be a horrible hotel , I’m struggling to find any positives about it . The staff are very disinterested in their jobs, the guests and just generally rude, they treat you like they are doing you a favour serving you . The cup system is so strange . Plastic tumblers day and night even though the eve bar has normal glasses you are not allowed one so all drinks have to be drunk out of the equivalent of a child’s plastic tumbler and you have to have a token to get a tumbler , no token no drink , replacements are 1 euro from reception so you see people walking around with stacks of tumblers in fear of losing them .Rooms ,we had two , disabled access room was ok, grubby old shower room that flooded the whole bathroom and in to the corridor on 2nd shower of the day but decent size , hardest beds I’ve ever slept on air con broke first day , guy came several times and couldn’t fix it so just never came back . 2nd room very small horrible mouldy bathroom with no bath plug despite several requests to reception one was never supplied , made bathing a toddler a nightmare experience .The food at brekkie was not edible apart from the coffee and cookies , orange juice is squash , lunch on a couple of occasions when we went in to get the toddler food looked a bit better dinner was slop , chaotic environment pretty much the same as a school dinner hall.Adults pool was decent , saved our experience a bit when other family had the toddler but still can’t get a drink out of anything but a plastic tumbler.Location is great They charge for hot water and ice unless it’s in your drink , begrudge giving a bottle of milk for toddler.I’d say if you are used to 2 stars this would feel ok if you are used to anything better avoid this hotel .

    Air con was rubbish, no fridge in room Rooms are a good size very very basic Food isn’t that good Pool bar is a joke cues outside the door only 1 bar staff on and she was very rude and had attitude Drink cups was a joke the time ice was in there was no drink at all Pool was absolutely freezing Smoking all round pool Decent location

    We were told day prior to departure it would not be a problem to keep room on and we could pay a fee on departure morning.Departure day and the male with the beard at reception didn’t even check he just stated we could not keep room on!We were left to secure our belongings in an unsuitable location with potential for theft. They state it as being a secure room but there is no security and the door is often left open for anyone to wander in. Reception give the key to anyone who asks without checking who they actually are!After collecting luggage there was an option to shower in a shower room but on asking at reception for a towel the reply was you need to bring your own!Covid didn’t happen that long ago and obviously no lessons were learned here as there was no visible evidence of anything being cleaned between showers.In the male showers there were towels available but not in the female showers.This whole checkout experience has tainted our experience at this hotel.This was my second stay at this hotel.
